Any idea what the context of that behavior is? Is it courting or threatening? Thats' the girl from Long Hopes Sanctuary and the IG page For the Love of Ass. I don't follow her, but my mom does and she's sent me a few of her videos. Yikes, that is a lot of bugs Friesans are so cool. One of the stables I go past on my bike rides has a Friesan mare, and she is a really nice looking and really friendly. The arena where they turn her out is set back a few feet from the fence, so I've never gotten close enough to pet her or anything, but when she's out she always comes right to the arena fence when she sees me. One of the ladies there was out one morning and came over to talk to me, and I asked, so I know for sure she's a Friesan.
My mom and I are going out to look for the wild donkeys tomorrow, if we see them do you guys want me to take some videos to post through Youtube? The old videos I posted a while back where on Facebook, so I think a lot of you probably didn't see them.
We saw tons of wildlife while we were out and about this morning. First we came across a pack of Coyotes while we were out walking the dogs, there were 2 adults and then somewhere 3 or 4 juveniles. It was hard to tell for sure how many of them there were because they kept running around and in and out of the bushes. We were little nervous walking past them with the dogs, but they just stayed put, and watched us walk past. Sadly it was still too dark to get decent videos or pictures when we saw them. If it had been a little brighter I probably would have tried to get somethign Then we went out to the park where the wild donkeys live, and found a whole herd of about 7. One of them was a jack that we've run into several times now who we've named Chester. He's really territorial, we have to stay back at least twice as far as with any of the other donkeys, because he's very quick to get pissed and start snorting at us. I would love to get some pictures or videos of him and his herd, but we have to stay back too far, and my phone just can't zoom in clearly enough at that distance to get anything.
