Let's say, NBC did give the Office two seasons and a Christmas special to end the show with, like the UK office. Would the show be better than it already is as a result? Would the will-they, won't-they dance between Jim and Pam be shorter and progress better than it already did? How would the audience react to the show not going more than two seasons?
