Oops, my bad. But it sucks that neither have a Black Widow planned.

Diamond Select DID make a Black Widow figure. It was exclusive to The Disney Store along with a comic version of Captain America. They may not have sold that well and DST is all about the sales figures.

You'll notice that there is not a Marvel Select version of Captain America from The Avengers. In fact I don't think that they did an Avengers Thor either (though admittedly he looks the same as in the Thor film)

Indeed. ScarJo Black Widow is what we want, and both Hasbro and Diamond don't see fit to give her to us.

It's a Marvel Legends figure. It was from the wave of two-packs that came out at the very end of the original line. It's also absolutely one of the best figures Hasbro ever made for the line. Just perfect in nearly every way.

I've got one too, except mine is in a grey outfit with silver gauntlets and no belt.

Understand that. That's why I also noted that they did not create an Avengers version of Captain America (though there are 3 select Captains America to choose from...none are from the Avengers film).

I think from Avengers they only made Hawkeye, Iron Man and the Hulk.

Well, pluck my feathers and call me a bald rooster. My Toys 'R' Us actually got in and stocked several cases of the Darth Malgus wave of Vintage. Scored two more Imperial Navy Commanders, another Hoth Luke and a Clone Wars Anakin with the pink-scar facial variation !

ETA: That's an amazing Catwoman. I think one of my retinas partially melted.

Star Wars VC Deleted Scene wave finally shows up in the UK. Picked up Lando, Luke and Mon Cal Pilot.

Maybe this time next year the Tarkin wave will turn up.

My Movie Masters Ra's Al Ghul arrived today. While I'm happy to have him, the real thing to be excited about it the fact that I can finally do this:

Yeah, Luke is fantastic. I think Lando would have been my favourite because of all the extra gear you get but he's a bit too short and looks like a child next to other figures.

Yeah, he's also noticeably shorter than the Rebel General version of himself from last year(VC47). It's kind of glaring and a little annoying if you have them side by side in front of you.

On the bright side, though, with his Skiff Guard gear this is the best Skiff Lando ever made even if his height leaves a little something to be desired. Before this the best Skiff Guard Lando was the mold from 2004(Saga and OTC). You really get your money's worth with the new figure when it comes to accessories and play value.

I wish I could, but right now it looks like I'm gonna have to pass on the Hot Toys TDKR stuff. The Avengers has already claimed all of my money. Curse all of this stuff coming at once! Then again, with Hawkeye now delayed until October, who knows when the heck we'll even be getting figures?

I'm glad to report that it looks like they've fixed Thor's head sculpt. He now looks a whole lot more like Chris Hemsworth. These constant delays with the Avengers figures most likely mean that they're reworking things to give us the very best figures for our money, but it's still frustrating.

Now Kmarts are starting to get the Lost Line/Jar Jar wave of Vintage, and in apparently decent quantities. It's a great chance to army build the all-new Sandtrooper if you can find him.

I was at a sci-fi convention recently and got Serenity action figures. River, Mal and Jayne . Too bad they never made the rest of the characters into action figures.

My Hawkeye and Black Widow figures are still getting used to their new home. Big Hawkeye has met my cat, Rory:

Little Hawkeye and Black Widow had a tea party with my tiny German tea set (the cups fit their hands perfectly):
