Some builders have too much free time, apparently. Not that we'd know about that sort of thing here...:rommie:

Lego Optimus Prime is amazing, but people on the legs rotate those stickers because they are the wrong way up if you follow the instructions.

I came across some nice Lego Trek customs.

I really wish they made official Star Trek Lego sets. I know a couple of the other building sets have done Trek, but they're not the same as LEGOs.
OK, I'll confess half the reason I want that is because is a LEGO Star Trek game is one of my ultimate dream games.

That's just the tip of the iceberg with some of the builds out there being quite detailed and ridiculous, like Battle of Geonosis.

So the Star Wars Vintage Collection Migs Mayfield and Koska Reeves figures are quickly becoming the new Lando, as it's commonplace to find multiples of both of them in stores. I suppose you could get a bunch and use them for helmeted troops.

Makes me excited instead of scrambling to find whatever I can. As in with army building. Just need more of the Imperial Army helmet instead of the driver helmet.

Ed's Retro Geek-Out probably has the coolest toy room tour videos on his channel:

Are Star Wars drink containers worth anything? We have a few of the large coke containers from the 70s
It really depends on condition and the buyer. I can grab some contact information for some local vendor markets that buy Star Wars memorabilia and they might give you an idea. Rebelscum.com might be worth signing up for and asking around there too.

My Walmart never got the second wave of the novelty item I mentioned here...

"Tiny TV Classics" discussion

It seems the initial sets did not sell enough units fast enough, so what was left they marked down and placed on the discount aisle. They good news is that I was able to nab the last remaining "TV" loaded with Batman clips for a paltry 10 bucks! I wanted it more for the 1960s design of the cabinet, anyway. It is now resting upon my computer desk with a Schleich brand penguin figurine stand atop it, ready to "explode just 'round 8 o'clock".

I measured the screen and the viewing area diagonally is exactly 1.5 inches. When I place my 5.5 inch tall Granny Connolly figures (from the Doctor Who episode "The Idiot's Lantern") by the set, their 1/13th scale makes the miniature TV screen a relative 19.5 inches, just the right size for a cabinet type set of the era!

For a minute, based on the picture before actually reading your post, I thought this might be official Monty Python merch.

THAT would be too d*mn cool!!! Even better if it came with action figures of John Cleese and Graham Chapman dressed as elderly "pepperpots" (not the Dalek variety) and the wee TV actually played the skit itself!

There're actually a lot of characters and skits from Monty Python's Flying Circus that would make for brilliant figures and playsets. Just imagine a Silly Walks John Cleese figure with all the points of articulation possible today, or a Dead Parrot pet store playset.

Of course, the question is if these would actually sell enough units, and considering they already tested the market with several attempts at Holy Grail figures over the years, a full Monty Python line probably won't become reality.

Edit:

Waddayaknow, there was actually a plush toy of the Penguin TV Set.

Didn't claim it would be likely, only that I, personally, would love it.

I should explain that an LP vinyl record pressing owned by a junior high classmate was my introduction to Monty Python (around 1976) and the exploding penguin sketch was the routine that stuck with me. The BBC Radiophonic Workshop made it sound like the Antarctic bird "took out" half a building! Imagine my disappointment when I finally saw the televised skit several years later when a poly-vinyl prop barely wedged apart with a paltry plume of smoke wafted from it. anyway, arguably more people think of the dead parrot sketch or the lumberjack song when somebody says "Monty Python". But for me, my first thought is that pyrotechnic penguin.
