The Action Figure and Toy Collecting and Discussion Thread!

Amazing! So cool they gave you a shoutout in the show!
A friend texted me about it before I saw it. Would probably have gotten an heart attack otherwise LOL

Chakotay is done and he looks awesome, even if I say so myself! I'm very proud of him. Had some trouble mixing the right skin tone, it always came out too brown and dark. Hope I got it right now. And don't ask about the tattoo in this scale...

You are an actual PLASTIC SURGEON

In case some of you were wondering how small the 6"-scale Black Series figure of The Child(Baby Yoda) is:

I’ll be able to sneak a couple of those in the house w/o notice! Maybe I’ll see how many it takes for Mistah Kim to notice them lol.

Love that! And your backdrop- the brick looks like a pub!
The plastic you shave off was already manufactured. You’re just redistributing it.
In my head Tuvok is the sneakiest ringer ever. He pretends he knows nothing of this foolish earth activity and fails to mention the years he spent perfecting his craft while waiting to escort his lightweight earth friends safely home because they can’t find their quarters after a night of RisanRum!

So in trying to do some organizing recently, I've run into an interesting quandary. I have these tool storage drawers I use to house part of my Lego collection, and they're good for organization. But I've slowly come to realize that, with a lot of other Legos in less organized format, it will take an impossible amount of time to try and organize them. So now I'm debating whether I should throw those Legos into a simpler storage bin and hopefully free up a chunk of space the drawers consume.

So, the latest Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse / Sugar Man BAF series...I thought maybe I'd pick up a couple of the characters, sine I haven't read the comic & seriously lack the knowledge about the alt reality that the characters are in compared to the normal comic book universe.

And then I saw the whole series in a cardboard box on the top of the toy aisle at a Wal Mart in Tyler. And figured, what the hell...

I put Sugar Man together yesterday, and gotta say that is by far the ugliest action figure I have ever owned. If ya can't tell, it take three pieces just to make the almost softball sized head! No pics of that, don't wanna break my camera.

That's why I chose it! I don't have any spaceship backgrounds but I am fairly set for all kind of holodeck adventures!

Yeah, but I meant it being microplastic, as in little bits flying around. I put it all in the trash of course but in general microplastic is bad as it can be found everywhere and you might digest it. I heard even opening a bottle of water (with the plastic ring being broken) provides microplastic! We're all doomed then.

I managed to get the Matrix staircase rather cheap as parts are broken or missing. Looks like some action is going on there!

Yeah, the micro plastic thing is a big problem; it is everywhere.

We had a matrix stairway thingy that had notches for Neo to flip off the railing and such. It didn’t survive the child, alas.

I recently constructed a very simple and basic diorama of The Penguin's nightclub "The Iceberg Lounge" from Batman. I used my animated series figures and accessories from DC Collectibles. It turned out ok, could have been better. The stools are built out of legos, and the whole diorama backdrop is styrofoam. I used a lightbox for the stage/bar setting, which in my head canon gives the Penguin a chance to kick a customer's drink into their face if he doesn't like them. LOL

Here's the full diorama:

The not-so-cordial host.

The homicidal jester.

And poor Two-Face, who has to flip his coin to decide on what drink to order.

This looks awesome and I love the idea with the lightbox! It looks very "cool" indeed.

Styrofoam is such a versatile thing to use. These penguins were very confused when the TARDIS turned up in Antarctica!

I also love that there is more life in this thread now, I have lots more pictures to share with you guys but don't want to spam all by myself, so if you have something to show, please keep them coming!
