Those are wonderful! Your eye for props is very sharp and often wonderfully whimsical!

The last panel of the Horta is hilarious- and the TARDIS in the second is crossing-of-the-streams at its best!

The older Star Trek Barbies aren’t jointed and the news ones from the 09 movie are a mixed bag; Uhura isn’t jointed and Spock and Kirk are. The body scuplts are different - Uhura is skinnier and the Spock 09Kirk are beefier- hmmmm. Still makes me want to drag out the tote ‘o Barbies and play a little.

Quality
Ha ha, especially love the "wall" picture
Thank you! That's one of those things that happened spontaneously. Sometimes I have it all planned out, but sometimes the figures get a mind of their own. I also used to have friends over for playing in Stargate times and very often we would laugh our head off about some stuff that happened behind the scenes.

Thank you! Of course the TARDIS only happened to be in the pictures as I did not have a small walking talking Gorn so I grabbed the next best thing ;)
I would be happy if I had inspired you and would love to see your pictures! It's so quiet in here, I don't want to be the only one posting.
You know about the 12" figures by QMX? Very expensive but so worth it, with all their joints. If these are too expensive for you, how about the 9" Playmates ones? I think they're cute. Although I had to repaint Tuvok's SIMS beacon.

Well, since it's Towel Day today, I have to post this one!

And another longer story - in one TOS episode they mention a bowling alley but we never get to see it - until now!
Again that leg stance of that Select Kirk was perfect for this.

Then I asked what else I could do with this special Kirk stance (it's when he hits Khan with the lever) as well as the Jack Bauer who also is stuck in a gun holding position, and someone suggested this:

Recreations of on-screen canon is fun but the slice -of-life and “lower-decks” stuff is really what I love and these are great!

It will be fun to investigate some different action figures. I haven’t done any figures smaller than 1/6 since I like to sew and the clothing is a big thing for me. I tried a couple of the 1/4 Tonner LoTR figures but those are really expensive for me and I sold them for more barbies lol.

I’m not a very hardcore collector since I can never resist the urge to take them out of packaging and play with them!

I just saw this at Target and I want to get one. However they have 12 and I'll wait for it to go on clearance.

They have an awesome Black Series Enfys Nest that just went on clearance.

Hasbro is changing the packaging design for the 6" Black Series figures starting with the next wave assortment after the Plo Koon/Kit Fisto Wave that's about to hit. Here are the new box designs which appear to take inspiration from the Marvel Legends line:

What the backs of the new boxes will look like. The numbering sequence is being rebooted after five years.

These are more William Shatner than Kirk. I did these in my lunch break at work in a nearby park. I think they came out wonderfully! Even though these early figures can't spread their legs so he can't sit down properly.

In the episode "Requiem for Methuselah" Spock played the piano, and Kirk danced with Rayna. I just tried different women with him. Who do you like best?

Yeah, I also can't understand people who keep them mint in package. Where's the fun in that?
My first figures where the 7" Stargate SG-1 ones and then some time later also some (cheaply made) 12" ones came out. At first I did not want to get them as the faces are really not great, but then I saw a friend who had put them into nice shirts and suits and I saw the appeal. Growing up in East Germany I never had Barbies to play with, and probably would not have been interested anyway, but here I was buying more clothes for my figures than for myself LOL I can't sew but I see how this would appeal to you.

I only saw the Doctor Who and Torchwood Tonner dolls and did not like them. The faces do look nothing like the actors as they just use any doll heads they already have. The clothes were nice though.

I have found ways to customize the 7" ones though.

I love the diorama with Uhura!

The motorbike ones are fun too! It looks like he’s in a redwood/Sequioia forest!

Hubs peeked into the craft room and noticed more Barbie shoes. His observation that I spend more money on their shoes and clothing than mine isn’t wrong!

The Tonner dolls all have very severe facial expressions; it’s a lot to pay to have someone eternally grimacing at you lol! They do seem to get customized a lot; Incant help but imagine 3D printing will allow people to do their own head scuplts!

@cooleddie74 - I must have that baby Yoda. When will they be in stores?

Thank you! Janeway arrived today! I have to see if I can take them to do some nature shots once Chakotay is here.

Please forgive her and Tuvok, they hold the phaser upside down, I didn't know the right way when taking these pictures. I do now.

I also cut off the orange beam, it was too ridiculous ;) I also have repainted the phaser now to make it a bit more screen accurate.

I love it! I see they went with the ponytail of efficiency for this sculpt! Are these 6” or 8” figures? They’re well done!

Yes, I was surprised to see the ponytail. I had expected the helmet ;)
It kept falling off so I had to glue it. I think I also will make a golden barrette for her.
These are 9" so won't go well with my 12" ones sadly. There is also a 12" Janeway in a Captains series but not the rest of the team.

Shatner on the bike is brilliant
Actually looks as if the figure has movement at speed
Kirk dancing with Uhura is quality
Thank you!

Nature shots with Chakotay?! You're not planning to reenact the bathtub scene from "Resolutions", are you?
ROFL Now that you said that, I'll HAVE to.
I was planning innocent action shots with phaser and other weapons.

Remember when Kirk was called "Stack of books with legs" in the Academy? I bought this stack of books especially for him:

And that's me on the right side! I let myself scan and print in 3D so I could be a part of my action figure world.

When I started to collect these figures in 2015 I was lucky that the TOS gang had just been re-relased so I was able to get them for fair prices. The Wrath of Khan figures though were very expensive. I paid 150 bucks for Bones alone as he was a convention exclusive. Saavik is still missing as I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices they ask for her.

Am I the only one that thinks they would make a good marching band? LOL!
