I'm doing some reorganizing today and happened to notice that on my CW Defensor, Streetwise's white is already losing some of its proper color. I'm not entirely sure why that would be, since I try to control the amount of sunlight that could fade colors like white and he hasn't been exposed on a regular basis. None of the other Protectobots have that problem currently, so I'm not sure what the deal is. 
This afternoon I scored two new figures at my friend's local toy shop: the 3.75" Han Solo figure from The Force Awakens and the regular 6" First Order Snowtrooper from the Black Series, the one that doesn't have the rank pauldron. Both of them look great and it's nice to know my friend often carries certain figures when the local stores don't.
The First Order Snowtrooper has been hard to find in many areas because of the two waves he's shipped in the first was very badly distributed (General Hux, X-Wing Pilot Asty) and the second is brand-new and very hot (Ahsoka Tano, Kanan Jarrus and Tatooine Farmboy Luke Skywalker) so that wave assortment flies off the pegs the moment it gets stocked. That's assuming your own local stores have even received any shipments of it.

Thanks! That's not even an American Girl dress she's wearing- it's from Carpatina. I actually bought it for Maryellen, because it was so fifties looking, but it looks sweet on this modern AG, too.
I finally scored the 6" Black Series figures of Jango Fett and Finn (FN-2187) in his First Order Stormtrooper Armor at my local Target! I'd been looking for both ever since I found the two other figures in their wave (First Order Flametrooper and Han Solo from The Force Awakens) at the same Target a while back.
That leaves just three 6" figures that I'm still looking for, the others being the new Kanan Jarrus from Rebels, Ahsoka Tano based on her older physical appearance in the new series and Tatooine Farmboy Luke Skywalker. They're the newest wave of figures that is just starting to hit retail.

I was in Target and was finally able to pick up these guys. I'm not sure of the replenishment they got, there was only one other Batgirl besides these 3. If they got a full restock, then these things are selling very well.

I found and picked up two new 6" Star Wars figures today that are part of a 5-POA budget line of 6-inch characters being marketed at Family Dollar stores. I found the Kanan Jarrus and the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker (the Darth Vader and Han Solo from A New Hope were already gone) and for 5-POA sculpts they're actually pretty good-looking. They're essentially upscaled versions of recent 3.75" figures with larger weapons and accessories and packaged in open trays.
For the size of the figure and what you get I think they're more than worth $6 each, unless you just aren't into the simpler 5-POA figures with fewer paint apps and less detail. If you enjoy those figures you might want to check your local Family Dollars and see if they've gotten this new 6" assortment. There are just four figures in the first wave and so far I've seen nothing about other characters being planned for this line.

A friend of mine did a meme on LJ and mentioned a place that translates to "seal sanctuary" which gave her an image of seals gathering to pray. Since I am never short on imagination, of course I wanted to illustrate this scene. The guy in the middle is the Ori Prior from Stargate SG-1, played by William B. Davis, otherwise known as the cigarette smoking man.

I'm only missing one of the Best Friends dolls now- Ruthie, Kit's best friend. I haven't found a good price on her, even used. The other historical dolls I'm missing are Kaya, Caroline, and Rebecca. But I'm getting Melody as soon as she's available!
