LOL Your comments are the bestIt's a good thing those figures have super articulation, because simple 5-POA sculpts couldn't handle nearly as much liquor and would have passed out long before that.
Maybe! Looking at the calendar, the anniversary date was a Tuesday. Hopefully someone remembered the rules.

Even though I don't really like her character, I do like the figure a lot. So much that I could not decide which one to get and got both. The heads are meant to be swappable but I have not been able to get them off yet. Still, nice idea.
As opposite to other Doctor Who figures, she can outstretch her arms! Very nice. It is necessary to hold the umbrella properly.
She even has rings on her hands:

Unfortunately my wife nixed getting that Tie fighter. What I'm hoping for is that it doesn't sell and they mark it down.
At $170 each I have a feeling that it won't exactly be flying off most shelves. It'll take some sales and markdowns to get rid of them, and some might even end up on clearance if you're lucky and wait long enough.
Keep an eye on the price! After Christmas they could put them on clearance just to get them and their huge boxes out of the aisles. Right now they don't seem to be selling very quickly.

Picked up the latest in the Die-Cast Star Wars Elite series, the original Stormtrooper. Only Darth Vader, Bobba Fett and a mystery figure are left in the series.

Yes I always though Bossk looked related to the Gorn. And thanks to the recent Star Trek game from 2013 there are multiple types of gorns with Different appearence. It also established they are from a different Galaxy so maybe Bossk is really a Gorn.
They both make similar sounds when they growl and speak!

I got my Hawk City yesterday. As a playset it is not so impressive. As an extra pack in or 2 variant figures it is pretty good.
I now have 3 worlds of Mongo, Hawk City, Ming's Palace, and Friggia. Maybe I can find an Ewok Village or Sherwood Forrest for Arboria.

Brian Blessed now has at least four action figures of himself, including the three existing 3.75" and 12" figures of Boss Nass from The Phantom Menace. That's cool. Brian is so larger than life that he seems like the kind of guy who should have his very own action figures.

This is the one Black series I have readily available to make the comparison.
Which type of figure do you prefer? 6" Black Series or the new Disney Elite die-cast characters?
