As it stands, the Council's decision two only send to Jedi to Naboo after Qui-Gon had just clashed with a potential Sith was silly - as Red Letter Media pointed out, why not send a dozen? But, if Yoda had known that there had been another fairly recent (in galactic terms) Sith incident, his failure not to suggest that more Jedi go along on that mission starts to look like self-serving dereliction of duty.
