Which, there is a whole ton of film and literature were the characters are entirely unlikable yet the drama is fascinating.
As another reviewer unread out it is that this end, while a seeming triumph for Qimir and Osha, it's very much a tragedy because their not going to be useful for to Plaguis.

I sort of knew he was going to die. This series had a Rogue One mortality vibe written all over it. Kill the main Jedi characters so there's no one left who can testify to a Dark Side user with a red lightsaber who may or may not have used the name "Sith" to describe themselves.
Just like Enterprise and the "Who were those guys with big ears who kept wanting to buy everything?"

I thoroughly enjoyed The Acolyte. Up there with S1 Mando and The Bad Batch. That said it did have some problems. The resolution to the Osha/Mae story is no good. I kept waiting for a blade to pop through Mae when she hugs Osha... but the one death that 100% needs to happen story wise doesn't. It really hurts the ending. Also, the actor... It seems whenever there is a closeup she looks like she is about to bust out laughing and it really took me out of her scenes.
That said, frickin awesome. Loved the overall story. The lightsaber fights were amazing. I kept wanting more of the show and hated waiting a week. I really hope we get another season.

Here’s an interesting question - if Osha/Mae are two identical beings of the same consciousness (more than just a Force Dyad), if one of them dies, does the other one die as well? That might be problematic.
