Spoilers The Acolyte

Wait.. Basil wasn't the same race as the rodent played by a little person from the cantina scene in Star Wars but comes from a comic book? Is the rodent played by a little person still in Star Wars or was she replaced with something else like the wolf man was in 1997?

Not a comic, it's from one of the Brian Daley books from 1979. Aside from 'Splinter of the Minds Eye' and a handful of comic strips, it's about as deep of a deep cut you can get when it comes to EU material. Nothing to do with the Special Edition changes, or even Lucas at all for that matter. And if you can't tell the difference between either this; which is a straight-up pointed nose and all rat halloween mask, and Bazil; who looks like half-way between an otter or a beaver, then I really don't know that to tell you except perhaps to get your eyes checked?

You could also benefit by going easy on the throwing around of the pejoratives, there's a good chap.

Mae I’m pretty sure is also taking her master’s request too seriously. He’s being metaphorical, he doesn’t want her to kill a Jedi literally. Remember what he says at the end of episode 1, kill the dream.

Wow, you're really worried about being offensive are you.

Sorry, you got me; I'm a bigot.

My sincere apologies to all who suffered the indignity of being offended by my insensitive use of the English language to belittle and demean them.

I shall henceforth be a pariah amongst the denizens of the trekbbs. Known not as Orac, but as Orac the big ol' bigot: User of inappropriate words who is disrespectful of others identities.

I've edited my post in at attempt to preclude all potentially offensive language.

No longer shall I fill this thread with my vile hate.

Au revoir.

I think the show wants us to believe Qimir is Darth Teeth, but I think it's a little too convenient. I rather suspect we"ll find Qimir still roped up or disposed of.

Another possibility is that Kelnaca faked his own death to lure Teeth and Mae into a standoff. I find this unlikely, but entertaining to consider :D

One question I have is if Mae didn't know that Osha was alive before the confrontation on Olega in the second episode, who or what was behind Osha's vision on Carlac in the previous episode?

One wonders if it isn't Osha that is the unstable one. Did they go into why she left the Jedi Order?

Good question. Memories? The Dark Side? Osha and Mae being connected through the Force without realizing it?

Possibly true. They seemed more like fussy police people with puffed-up chests and endless bluster than philosophical warrior monks back in those days. I've been generally very disappointed at how they've been depicted. Maybe it's intentional, to show how lax and self-absorbed they've become as an institution, but their Padawans seem to have better sense and situational awareness than those who have been granted the rank of "Knight". Jecki, for example, seems the only one who's actually capable and possesses more than a half-a-clue than anyone else, whereas Yord is a freakin' imbicile.

I want some Jedi based on Knights Templar. People saw those dudes coming, they walked the other way.

The rather obvious revelation is balanced by so many unexpected deaths of main characters this week.
Although, assuming Mae really has switched places with Osha, which seems to be the case, wouldn't a Jedi sense through the Force to tell which identical twin is which?
