The Achievement Help Thread

I didn't see one of these, so I decided to make one. I didn't want to clog up the the other thread where we trade our online nicks.

Anyway, the point of the thread is to discuss 360 achievement/ PSN Trophy help.


I'm always about helping people out if I can, I'm not the best at gaming, but if I can help out I will.

Me, I'm looking for help with a few achievements for Fable 2, I only have a handful left and I'm trying to finish all of the achievements for the game.

Is anyone still playing it by any chance? Need to witness a few things, Temple of Shadows Sacrifice one, Hero Dolls one, Expressions and Pet trick one, Chain attack one, The silver key one too, but I think I almost have that on my own.

So how about it? Anyone else have some achievements they'd like a hand with?

I haven't played Fable II in a while but I do have a few of the achievements you mention.

For the witness the sacrifice: I actually don't have this one, but I know how you are supposed to get it. For this one when you approach the temple of shadows you see a guy out front who offers you some stuff to eat (I think it's chicken something) you have to eat it and join the temple. Then once joined get a random person from a town to follow you back to the temple and sacrifice them. If you are having trouble with it you probably did what I did. I was going through trying to max our my "goodness" and so opted not to join that temple, played through the game and when I came back the guy wasn't out front anymore and the temple was pretty much abandonded. It is now impossible to do this without starting over. This sucks big time.

For the expression and pet trick one (The Completionist) you have to buy and DL the Fable II Pub Games Arcade game from Live. It is only here that you can gain the backflip dog trick and the 'Hat Headband and Moustache" expression. Other expressions are found in various locations around the fable world, some of which IIRC are behind some of the demon doors.

Hero Dolls: this one you have to exchange dolls with people who are also playing the game until you get all the unique dolls. Each game has inside itself only ONE of them so you have to trade online to get it.

I'd like to know the chain attack one myself, I've gone through trying my ass off on this one to no avail.

I played all the way through, made a good guy, and picked the ending unknowing that I was going to lose my dog. So now I can't do the pet tricks or the sacrifice until I start a new game. Which I need to anyhow so I can get the achievements for the other 2 endings to fully finish it all off.

^I cheated for the ending achievements. I just turned off the Xbox after the achievement popped up, then reloaded and chose differently.

Ya, I didn't know about that cool trick till after it was way too late. On my next play through I'll do that to get the last 2 endings.

Anyone have a few minutes on Fable 2 to help me transfer gold from one of my characters to the other? Unless there's an in-game way to go it I'm not aware of.
