The '37s

Was there ever any mention of The '37s again after the episode? It would have been neat to have a follow-up episode. Has there been a sequel in book form?

I'm very happy they made these people be who they really seemed to be, e.g., that was really Amelia Earhart, not some clone or android.

I did like that episode. The only problem I have when they include historical figures on episodes like this is they clearly do not look like the actual person. I know, it's only a fictional TV show, but to me, it removes the episode one step further from having the illusion of reality.
I had the same problem with a few Quantum Leap episodes which included real people, like Lee Harvey Oswald, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis Presley.

Would you rather have a lookalike who can't act?

I loved this episode and its guest stars.

^^^^No. I see your point. It's just one of those things that bugs me. There's probably not a logical solution to this, other than not to include historical people, at least those whose images are well documented. On the other hand, I'd rather have good stories with actors who don't look like their real-life counterparts than not to have those stories at all.
Man, I sound wishy-washy. I would just prefer if they could make them look exactly like the real person, indistingquishable in every way.

But as I said, I did like the episode.

It was a fine episode, Voyager finally coming into its own IMHO. The moment when Janeway and Chakotay stepped into the cargo bay and found no one wanted to stay behind on the planet, then returned to the bridge and everyone stood at atention until she began giving departure orders... that was the first time I was genuinely moved by a Voyager episode.
