The 100 - Season 2

Since they have magic artificial gravity, maybe they had magic radiation shields. Whatever that means. which were power hogs and didn't work so well. After they genetically engineered the next few generations, so that when eventually the first astronauts had died off, they could turn off the radiation shields and dedicate that power to something else.

Another thrilling episode tonight. This is becoming easily one of my favorite shows, only Person of Interest really rivals it at this point. It feels like the writers came in with a much better plan for this season and are executing perfectly.

Wow, I didn't expect them to actually blow up Ton DC. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the other tribes after this. I have to compliment them for how willing they are to do big things like that.

No one knows that she knew.

Churchill did the same same thing.

That drunk allowed a rinky dink city to be bombed so the Nazi's wouldn't know that "he" had broken Enigma.

The The 100 writers probably used that as a template.

Did The Riddler from Batman Comics predate Enigma?

The Riddler's first appearance was 1948, so I guess not.

I know they don't know that she knew, but they could still be pissed it happened.
I did really enjoyed the episode, there wasn't really much I can think of to comment on other than the Ton DC attack.

The rising lesbian tension between Clark and Lexa vs. the rising sexual tension between Clark and Raven?

Bellemy isn't very attractive, but I was amazed by what I saw when he took his shirt off last week.

More Clarke fodder?

I like shipping, and no one is shipping so it's pissing me off.

You're right, there really isn't much shipping going on with The 100 is there?
I am glad to see that they actually have Clark and Raven working together, and aren't having Raven refuse to help her.

I thought Desmond (wait.. that's his LOST name) Marcus (looked it up), who previously repulsed me, looked very hot in this ep all scruffy and disheveled.

That's all the shipping I got  I don't get a lot of vibe off any of them despite all the women rubbing up against each other and conflicting.

I knew the desert chick was going to betray them as soon as she started in on her sad story. I'm only saying this because I never see anything coming so I'm kind of pleased I did. Why is John Murphy always wearing eye liner, he looks like a Brian Molko wannabe even while covered in dirt and wandering in the desert. It's a little much.

I thought tonight's episode dealt with the consequences of the last one in a great way. The stuff on the mountain is riveting, and I'm glad they're not pulling any punches, or axes, in seeking what is right. The aftermath in the camp was great, the show has done such a good job of keeping up suspense I was almost sure one injured person would die. I missed Raven this episode, she's my fave, but she'll be in the next one.

I think it was a great idea to limit the number of episodes this season. It cuts down on the filler and makes each episode matter.

Yeah, I agree they did a great job with the aftermath of the attack. I thought most of the characters got a moment to shine (I honestly didn't even notice the lack of Raven). I'm also happy to see the kids in Mount Weather fighting back. I also like the fact that they introduced some allies in Mount Weather. It'll be very interesting to see what becomes of them once the war is over.
I'm really liking what they are doing with Octavia.

10 people dead is around %3 of their population.

Imagine if terrorists killed %3 of Canada?

These assholes are thinking like individuals, not like they are the last chance humanity has to keep it trucking.

Keeping this few people alive at these costs is indefensible.

Killing to defend the right to continue inflicting these costs is even worse!

When it gets down to it, they're killing skychildren and putting the a massive chunk of mountain men into mortal situations where sky people have to kill them.

340 people? 1/2 of them have to be old people and children. If their mortality rates are through the roof because of even the low levels of radiation in Mount Weather, maybe there are no old people and it's mostly children down there and every one over 30 is expendable and 5 minutes from dying of natural causes.

Are we sure that they are breeding naturally?

If they are just about massive sperm/egg banks in cold storage in the basement from before the war, then the current generation and their drive to repopulate is meaningless, and it also might explain one lone evil (Asian) Indian or why Mia seems Latin and her father really doesn't.

Ian Tracey, that's his name. I've seen the actor in tons of stuff, but I never knew his name.

We don't know what ethnicity her mother was.
