That poor teddy bear!!!

Except that the Ewok was Good, while we assume the zillion people on the Death Star were all EEEEEEEvil. It would be no worse than some World War II movie where you linger on a dead G.I. longer than the exploding ship full of Nazis.

It's the same principle as in Return of the Jedi where they linger on a dead Ewok longer than the exploding death star which had a zillion people on it.

It's also longer then how long they linger on the destruction of Alderaan in the first (fourth, whatever) movie.

But if it makes you Ewok haters feel better, you do know about the Endor Holocaust, right? :)

I just recently read 'Death Star'. There were plenty of consultants, civilian contractors, slave labor, etc. on it during the construction.

I couldn't help but think of this scene from Clerks.

But, 'casualties were minimal'!

(yeah right)

Didn't you see the extended version of that scene with the rest of the log?

"Our casualties were light...except for my goddamn fish! How the hell could this have happened? Goddammit! Why wasn't somebody watching after them? Everyone knows that when I leave the ship, it's up to somebody to take care of my fish! Sonuvabitch!"
