    Funny enough, I believe Shatner pitched that instead of God they would find the literal devil (again, apparently).

    I like the idea in the Q Continuum novel that he was one of a group that Q hanged out with when he was younger who with others wiped out the T’Kon Empire and were punished by the Continuum. He was imprisoned in the Center of the galaxy while the ringleader was improved outside the galaxy by the great barrier.
