Thanks for explaining the basics of cosmic movements of the planets, stars, and moon Basil Technobabble.

I didn't go into this show expecting to hate it, it honestly did look good. The family, whimsy, teenage angst, shitty CGI and lack of dinosaurs all sort of spoiled that.

I'll watch again next week but my hopes are not high.
 
well.... isnt that hint interesting.... math expert.... math expert meet cave wall drawings...
 
I voted 'Below Average'; rather disappointed with the whole thing. I might give it a second look next week, but it needs to amp a quite a bit if its going to make it.

Probaby the writers put that in so fan wont question where there actually on earth or a planet with a moon just like Earth was 85 million years ago.
 
I thought it was OK, at least it was fun to watch (or mock), I fear that future episodes aren't going to have enough action to cover up its faults.
 
Excellent! I didn't think it was great but it was whole lot better than I expected.
 
but they still have contact with the future. and it looks like tyler has a son and a daughter. fantastic show I am watching this and hopeing that it get picked up for a second season. unless they bring lost actors and then it's over for me. I hate lost.
 
Thats not Taylors daughter, her parents died. His son went rogue and drew the pictagraghs.
 
Excellent

The second hour was better than the first hour (also the second hour was written by Braga) but I still enjoyed it a lot.

It was a typical pilot with all of the exposition. However, the action sequences and the beginnings of the mysteries kept me intrigued. I wasn't expecting the pictographs and the sixers are a good idea.

Some of the characters were cliche, but what do you expect? It's Spielberg after all. I expect the character writing to be much better next episode with Spielberg loosening control and Echevarria taking more control.

But despite all those problems this episode gets an excellent from me because it was fun. And do we really expect anything else from a pilot?
 
I thought it was pretty well done. If the teenagers have got the 'dumb' out of their systems, then that's good.
The CG was okay for TV. The cast looks good, but not too uber-hot. Some nice mysteries are left dangling.
I'll tune back in next week, and I don't currently watch anything on TV. :)
 
I really liked it. I am glad they got to the past rather quickly. I was afraid that it would be a while before they got there but it wasn't. The CGI looks pretty good and the cast did a good job. I liked the story and that there is a secret to be discovered.

I'll keep watching.
 
Even though it dragged a bit in parts and the characters were a little bland, I liked it and I will definitely be watching next week.
