Excellent. I enjoyed learning of Cameron's backstory and seeing Summer Glau showcase her acting chops.

We know that in the future, Allison-Replicant is discovered by Connor and reprogrammed to be his protector; if not, she would have succeeded in her mission and killed John. At the end of the episode, t's not at all clear to me whether we is have a "good" Cameron or a "bad" infiltrator Cameron that is using an elaborate ruse to gain John's trust in order to facilitate killing him. John does seem fairly sure that she has lied to him about the necklace, suggesting the latter. Perhaps Cameron is still in her default termination mode with a glitchy software override. Either way, I suspect some more chip-fixing to be in Cameron's future. Maybe John can do more than wipe it with a dirty rag this time. ;)

As for Weaver, I don't know what to make of her. The accidents she mentions seem to be real as there are reports and the like. I wonder if the real Catherine Weaver was targeted by Skynet and then replaced by the T-1001. The "daughter" could then be human.

And no Riley...yay!

Well it would seem we now have our T4 connection. Cameron has the memories of a real person inside her memory banks - like the character of Marcus.

I personally think we have Multiple Personality Cameron.

I was really looking forward to this episode. I've been disappointed with the season so far, but I would figure getting the backstory on Cameron would be interesting and be a highlight of an episode. And once again, I was disappointed. What did we learn? Nothing. Why was Allison selected? Dunno. What was she doing in the Terminator camp (as it was strongly indicated that she was on some sort of mission)? Dunno. What is her role in the resistance and her connection to John Connor? Dunno. What do the Terminators have in mind? Dunno. It answered a whole lot of nothing.

And how come John didn't give Derek a call? I mean, I realize that he wants to track Cameron down himself, but you would think that after a long while (especially after the half-way house incident), John would bring in some help. Or why didn't Derek call him to find out where the damn cheesy crackers John sent Cameron to the store to get were. Interestingly enough, BAG wasn't credited in this episode; something I find interesting as most shows list all the main cast members whether or not they appear in the episode.

Next week doesn't look that much better as we have another Terminator chasing after John. Wow...doesn't get more original than that, especially since TPTB initially claimed the show wouldn't be a TotW. I know you said that next week's episode will further John's storyline, NX. But I am starting to think that this show is going to further the story arcs the way Smallville did (a completely throwaway FotW story with the last ten minutes contributing to the arc of the show).

If it wasn't for a friend of mine that loves this show and continually talks to me about it (since I was the one who got him into it), I'd probably bail, but I'll stick with it for at least one or two more weeks.

No recap tonight.

Thank goodness. I have been getting sick of the needlessly long "intro" followed by a needlessly long "recap". At times I want to yell, "Start the damn show already!"

I repeat: DAUGHTER?!?!?!?!?!

Or it may be real... doubtful but possible. Skynet did utilize child based infiltrators.

My theory is that T-1001 replaced the real whatever-her-name-is sometime before we first were introduced to her. And the robot has been the one raising the daughter since.

Why no minority terminators?

Ooooh....Forget John Connor....Jessie Jackson is totally going to pwn Skynet's ass now.

I much rather see Cameron than Bush.

Lets split the difference by seeing Cameron's bush?

What?

I missed the first twenty minutes but what I saw was really good. Very cool revealing Cameron/Allison's backstory and the old aircraft carrier in the future was quite cool. Summer Glau was great as always. I guess they didn't want to take Cameron that far but it would have been interesting if she had killed that chick at the end. John would have the blood on his hands because he was the one who decided not to destroy her a few episodes ago.

Way too little of Derek this season although it's even more obvious he doesn't trust Cameron. Ellison's storyline is really good and it's nice seeing Busy Phillips in a recurring role.

Blame Fox.

John is not the target, a new character is.

John joins a military academy to learn how to become a leader.

I'd say it was a good episode. Bordering on Excellent.

I didn't like Suzie Homeless and I hate the woman who's apparently pregnant with a middle-schooler.

But it was overall a good episode that really showed off Glau's talents,

Well it would seem we now have our T4 connection. Cameron has the memories of a real person inside her memory banks - like the character of Marcus.

I remember MCG saying he would neither deny or confirm the rumor
“Alright so the main character is a cyborg named Marcus. For some background, Marcus was a criminal who was executed in 2003. He donated his body to Project Angel which was involved with SkyNet. They take his body and make a terminator out of him so he’s a terminator skeleton but has living muscle/skin and a beating heart too. At the end of the movie John Connor is fighting a T800 model 101 and loses. He dies and the top resistance people come up with a plan to help the resistance keep fighting on. The resistance feels that it’s important to keep the image or idea that John Connor is still alive so the resistance keeps going. So they rip off Marcus’ skin and put John Connor’s on the skeleton so now Marcus is John Connor.”

Excellent. I had no idea Cameron is an Infiltrator. I'm starting to wonder if she was actually sent back in time by John to protect him.

The part of the rumor that was wrong was John's death at the end of the film and Marcus becoming him. I meant the Terminator with actual human memories angle.
