I'd say it was a good episode. Bordering on Excellent.

I didn't like Suzie Homeless and I hate the woman who's apparently pregnant with a middle-schooler.

LOL, I think she has an alien baby in there and it is gonna burst out of her extra large tummy.

Just to let people know Busy Phillips(Freaks and Geeks, Dawsons Creek) gave birth awhile back.

Daughter, Birdie Leigh Silverstein, was born on August 13, 2008, weighing in at 9 lbs, 7 oz and 21½ inches long.

I have mixed feelings about this episode, aspects I loved, aspects I didnt care for. The whole Cameron/Allison stuff was excellent. the Weaver/Ellison stuff was decent, at the moment I think the kid is real, I mean yeah she seemed a little off, but if the T-1001 is portraying Weaver even remotely similar to how the real one was, I can fully understand her kid being slightly "not normal"

But I didnt care for Sarah's subplot. I'm not a shallow man, I dont need to see explosions every other second, but, this is a show about Terminators, about trying to stop Judgement day etc etc, I dont care to watch "Sarah drives a neighbour to the hospital and then chats about pregnancy stories". Just as I dislike the forced, against the tone of the show nature of Riley, I dislike the forced, anti-tone nature of this crap.

Cant say I missed Derek, but I wont mind when he reappears, but as someone up thread said, I didnt miss Riley.

One question I have, when released from the cops, Cameron's told that the store isnt pressing charges. What would they press charges for? Failure to control a dodgy wheeled shopping trolley? Slightly damaging a couple of melons??

Best line of the night was Cameron's "...apparently not" at the end. Delivered wonderfully.

Ya know looking at this I'm angry. How the hell does a show like dancing with fucking stars get such unreal sky high ratings!??! My god!!! Apparently America is completely filled with stupid morons!:scream:

It would seem the international world at large is correct about us.

Freaking disgusting!!!:scream:

BTW, the show was ok too.:techman:

Damaging inventory I suppose... not really sure.

Yeah, I'm not sure any store would or even could do it.

The damage of a couple watermellons isn't going to be a big deal to a store.

What seems odd to me is a)the cops arresting her with no evidence she had done anything wrong/was on anything. And I wonder what any blood tests they tried to run on her (to determine drug or alcohol use) would result in. But, really, I don't see what they could've jailed her on. I could see having her taken to a hospital to check her out, but jail?

What was funny to me was the guy John runs into later was just there smiling and grinning ASTONISHED over the produce guy restocking the melons. I mean, check HIM out for drugs! He's obviously easily entertained.

What seems odd is police involvement, period.

"911? Yeah, some girl just knocked over all the watermelons, and she isn't really moving! Surely you've got nothing better to do!"

We know that in the future, Allison-Replicant is discovered by Connor and reprogrammed to be his protector; if not, she would have succeeded in her mission and killed John. At the end of the episode, t's not at all clear to me whether we is have a "good" Cameron or a "bad" infiltrator Cameron that is using an elaborate ruse to gain John's trust in order to facilitate killing him. John does seem fairly sure that she has lied to him about the necklace, suggesting the latter. Perhaps Cameron is still in her default termination mode with a glitchy software override. Either way, I suspect some more chip-fixing to be in Cameron's future. Maybe John can do more than wipe it with a dirty rag this time. ;)

If she wanted John Connor dead, he would already be so. There's no point to a ruse if she can just stick out her arm and snap his neck, then bash his skull in.

I have to say, this episode was amazingly good.

I only wish Sarah was a bit tougher. She's too much like her T1 self than the post T2 she should be.

Oh please, oh please, will they let Cameron do this...

A little confusion now over last night's episode. People are saying it might've been a flashforward, or somethign similar, but I think it was just a common error. The baby Sarah was looking at in the hospital (Jefry Bryan Shebroe) was apparently born on "10-2-09".

The baby is obviously only a few hours old, if even that, so that would make the present date and year the same, yet it's still suppose to be early 2008. November was tossed around in last week's episode too, so I don't know what's going on, but it sure does suck. Some are pointing out how Sarah didn't use the "code" when she called John too. They do have a point, to some extent, but I doubt they would take it this far.

I thought it was an excellent episode. The drama was awesome and it had a very brutal ending.

I just wonder why the daughter ignored Ellison completely lol.

I dunno, pretty average I'd say. I expected Cam's prequel story to be more interesting. I still think what this show needs is more of a "landscape" of the future war.

This power plant and that mall are key to the battle for the future because Derek remembers them being key - come up with a reason why even as a kid/young teen he'd have seen things that later become important only in retrospect. He remembers people who were helpful or harmful and has a vague idea how it all plays out, maybe hearing stuff second hand (and therefore unreliable, which throws in another interesting element) and can provide some direction for Sarah et al to be pro-active in a simple, direct way the audience can understand and root for. They need a battle plan so we can follow along. Without that, we lose identification with the struggle and become bored.

And John should not have had a whiff of Mopey Teen this season. He should have cut off his hair and shown determination to learn to become an ass-kicker from Uncle Derek. Looks like that's the plan next episode but it may be too late.

Lose all the dull crap with the pregnant neighbor and the high school. That stuff has been dragging the show down. Agent Ellison and the redhead are also a bore. This show looks like it's going to be cancelled soon, but I've already cancelled it as far as watching any future episodes.

That struck me as strange, too. Very small incident for a store to be worrying about. They'd more likely be worried she had some kind of seizure in the store and was going to sue them blind, you know, because she was there at the time. This is California. :D

You should check out foreign TV sometime. It's wall to wall reality show crap. They rely on America to provide scripted drama (like the insanely popular CSI shows). The dancing show nonsense CAME from foreigners. America is the last bastion of scripted drama. It's basically down to us and the Latin Americans with their soaps.

The world is even stupider than Americans, that's the scary part. :rommie:

Which is why we can't afford to lose scripted shows because ain't nobody else producing them seriously. I may be bored with T:SCC but I'd prefer to see it survive even if I'm not watching.

Blame Fox.
