TBBS Posters That Remind You Of Fictional Characters

tsq has definitely always reminded me of a Flapper from the Roaring 20s. Mainly because she looks like a Flapper from the Roaring 20s.

RJDiogenes? The dad from American Pie. :D
I had to look that up. You mean Eugene Levy? There's a bit of a resemblance.

Ouch! Do I seem that old?

Although, I suppose I do share her sense of humor.

You seem that dignified.

Cool.

I don't think I've ever been called that before, but I like it. :bolian:

Well I have been called (on numerous occasions) a nicer version of Ouiser so I think you got the better character from that movie. :rommie: I also love Clariee. Hell, I just love that movie period. Reminds me of my mama and her sisters.

And tsq I remember your real name but I always have to stop and think for a moment what your BBS name is. I just see your avatar and think ------ instead of thestrangquark. (You have no idea how many times I have almost address you by your real name here. I would just die if I accidentally did.)

I always imagine myself as a character in a Jane Austen novel, however I'm not nearly as heroic as they are, so I really identify with the mixed up, fly by the seat of her pants, character of Amanda Price in the BBS short series Lost in Austen :techman:

The closest Austen character that I would be is Fanny Price in Mansfield Park.

Nothing wrong with a bit of Fanny. :bolian:

Oh, and I meant BBC :techman:

Curses! I thought it was a fan-fic you guys had written!

If I met you I'd be worried I'd call you AstroSmurf instead of your actual name (which I know, also).

Even when I get to know people online more personally, they insist on calling me Kes/Kestra.

Mazel Tov! :D

You will always be the dancing bunny to me, CD.

think you got your bunnies mixed up.
cd used to use that happy bunny or whatever the insulting bunny was caused.
as opposed to bunny that cusses on craig ferguson.

Nope, she had a the little sarcastic bunny with his arms up in a dancing position for the longest time. That's the one I associate her with.

I associate you with sports. Just the general concept of sports.

Yeah... my brain doesn't work right.

This is a nice thread; no insulting!

Do any TBBS posters remind you of fictional character you've seen in a movie or perhaps read about? It happens to me on occasion. Some of them I strongly associate with their avatar character (like Deckerd). Others are totally random, like Miss Chicken who reminds me of Agatha Christie's "Miss Marple". I can just imagine her solving crimes in a totally modest manner!

So what about it, anyone else see similarities?

My avatar was chosen for me because it's so like me, although people who know me in real life still insist on calling me Decks (my universal online nickname) rather than Edna. I can't get away from it.

No matter what Australis does, I always hear Grampa now when he posts.

Squiggy reminds me of a fictitious character called Brian Cunningham.

Frontline, bless him, I always hear the Good Ole Boys guy from Blues Brothers.

Kestra brings to mind a pixie.

Locutus is Vyvyan from the Young Ones doing his Good Life rant
