That was actually sort of amusing. The Trek part, at least -- I kinda skipped the rest.
I'm sorry, I have no idea who Taylor Swift is. Should I google it or am I wasting my time?
At any rate, her Vulcan impersonation made me LOL.
Ah, that would explain. Like you said, here in Europe country music isn't all that popular. But yes, any artist who is willing to make fun of herself in front of the camera is probably heaps better than Paris Hilton.

I thought the T-Pain part was funnier, but that's just me.

Depending where you're from here in the states will determine if you like country music or not. It's a demographic thing...of course there are exceptions. I don't care for country music that much but I love some Pasty Cline.

Like all stereotypes, there is a little truth and a little fiction in this. In Nashville, you'll find as many people who hate country music and love rap as you will the reverse, with most people comfortably in between. I've met other southerners/midwesterners who had less love for country music than many I've met from the east or west coast.
I'm sorry, I didn't mean that as a blanket statement...there are exceptions...but on the whole on the average.... if you live in a rural area chances are country is big there and if you're in the city chances are that it's more of a diverse music taste. I'm in NYC and of course there are plenty of people here who like country music...that would be statistically impossible...but on the whole most do not. I'm trying to think if there is even a country music station here..there must be...right?????
