Tarkovsky's movies legally online for free

I just thought I'd share this since I haven't seen it posted here anywhere. It seems that all of Tarkovsky's movies (including "Solaris" and "Stalker") have been made available online - for free and legally (as far as I can tell).

There's a brief article about this which also links to all of his films. The movies appear to be hosted at a site called Film Annex which also has other movies available for viewing (but I haven't had the time to really look around yet).

What I can't tell is if there's any kind of regional restriction as to who can watch. It certainly works from the UK.

P.S.: Apologies if this has been posted somewhere around here before. Also, as I mentioned, as far as I can tell this is absolutely legal. I apologize should this not be the case and I have been mislead.

I've seen the movie, many times. It's a good movie, and yes I have seen the ending each and every time.

Of course I've seen it through the end--it's an sf classic. As far as "boring" goes, Stalker will probably be even worse for you, though I prefer it to Solaris myself.

I watched Solaris in it's entirety without falling asleep. I even remember the ending.

Interesting news! I'd particularly recommend Andrei Rublev, which is spectacular, but Solaris and Stalker are no doubt particularly good for sci-fi fans.

I already own both of those films, as I am a fan and collector of Russian cinema. And both are certain worth a watch.

Russian cinema, however, is Russian cinema. If you expect it to be like US cinema, then you are in for a disappointment. Or a shock. Or both.
