Talk Show Schedule - Starting Tonight!

So, anyone watch Bana on Leno tonight? I thought he was fairly entertaining. Didn't talk about the movie all that much, but I found the story of the Moscow interviews amusing. 
And yes, they showed the Robau/Nero clip. I'd never seen it before. All I have to say is... ouch (not because it looked poor, but because of what happens in it).

Apparently they are hitting up the people who don't have cable with the Tavis Smiley appearance next Friday.
I think it's more to do with Jimmy's low ratings that they can blitz his schedule without conflict.
I hate Leno with a passion.

Or maybe Kimmel was just more interested in booking them? I have to believe that these actors would accept any interview offers from Leno or Letterman. Leno and Letterman probably just weren't as interested in devoting that many nights to Star Trek.
Where's Karl Urban? I want to see that full "disease and danger" clip on one of these talk shows.
Well thank God...because I don't consider these interviews "extras" by any means... 20 years from now yeah maybe but in the present....no thanks.
Would that make these interviews canon?
I can see it now: a future fanboy claiming it is "established canon" that Scotty attended 23rd-century 'Alcoholics Anonymous' meetings, because of something Simon Pegg may say in an interview on the Jimmy Kimmel show.

I had to laugh when he referred to Robau as captain of the Enterprise though.
The guest schedule for next week's episodes of 'The Daily Show' and 'The Colbert Report' is not available yet, so I don't know if any cast members will be on at all. My guess is they will have at least one.
I enjoyed the Eric Bana interview on Leno last night. Bana was pretty funny and I loved his mention of the interview questions from Russia.

Yeah. The audience reaction seemed lukewarm at best though. Like they were just being polite.
Me too. Although Robau would have been a hell of a commanding officer for an Enterprise.

Star Trek: Kelvin anyone?
I think it's more that Jimmy Kimmel is a big Trek fan and probably wanted to help promote the movie.
He even went to the Grand Slam convention a few years ago and showed a segment on the show. Here's the article from startrek.com
