Talk Show Schedule - Starting Tonight!

If they put all these spots, (and ones prior) onto the DVDs sets it could potentially be the most special feature packed disk ever!

That would be a first. I've always been profoundly disappointed with the features on the Trek dvds.

Agreed. Even the special features of the special editions was lacking when compared to how freaking long they made us wait for those sets.

Re: JJ on Jimmy Kimmel tonight

Seemed to be a fair interview. Ironically, the guest before J.J. was a cast member from X-Men Origins (his name escapes me at the moment.)

Re: JJ on Jimmy Kimmel tonight

I'm going to merge this with the other thread on the talk show circuit. Standby.

Re: JJ on Jimmy Kimmel tonight

I thought Quinto did just fine on letterman. It was entertaining, without being hilarious, and he came off as a normal guy.

He seemed to loosen up as the interview went on, he seems to have a bit of an air of affectation at first, Letterman seemed to really like him though.

anyone see this? what are your takes?

I thought it was funny that "superfan" Jimmy Kimmel told JJ that he'd only seen like 12 minutes of Trek. An exaggeration to be sure but it seemed strange with what was claimed in this thread.

Off topic, I thought it was funny how Dominic Monaghan tried to downplay the fact that they gave away his character's fate in his Wolverine clip.

Re: JJ on Jimmy Kimmel tonight

And here I thought they'd just show some lens flares...

I've been hearing about these flares...and now I see what the bitching is all about...why would they do that???
Because if you in reality filmed aboard a starship with huge flashing lights there would be a lot of lens flare. He tried to make it realistic.

OK thank you, but where are these lens flares coming from ..the ship or the camera that's filming the ship...?

I appreciate the fact that he can admit the lens flares are a little much at certain times. It means the sequel (assuming he directs) will be better with that.

to be honest, the movie moves (pun unintended, guys) so fast, I didn't notice many of them while watching. perhaps, twice, at most.
