Since it's commonly used by grade schoolers, no, I don't think it's been "thought through."
You running around using that one?![]()
Anybody ever really think this comeback to an insult through? Basically you are confirming that whatever a person called you is correct.
Better options include:
"I know you are, but what am I?"
"Your Honor, I cite the case of Rubber v Glue."
And of course, the greatest comeback of all time:
"YOU MIND YOUR OWN FUCK HOLE!!"
I was always a fan of "I refer you to the reply given in Arkell v. Pressdram."Better options include:
"I know you are, but what am I?"
"Your Honor, I cite the case of Rubber v Glue."
And of course, the greatest comeback of all time:
"YOU MIND YOUR OWN FUCK HOLE!!"
You forgot "Punch them in the mouth"

Thank you for using the word comeback. In elementary school I remember going to the school librarian and asking if they had a book with funny comebacks in it and she had no clue what I was talking about. It really irritated me.

When I was in grade four, whenever anyone--myself included--asked "can I go to the washroom" the teacher would say "I don't know, can you?" and she would keep saying that until we used the word may.
In hind sight I would have loved to have said "fuck you, bitch."
