long ago I remade the TAS intro with better resolution that was available at that time. Unfortunately I did it in Flash. And Steve Jobs hated that file system and destroyed it. Now I have a intro that won't run on anything modern...

I can’t thank you enough for that.

That 3/4 TAS shot has a very much longer secondary hull (Aridas Sophia drew that for his Defiant.

The TAS nacelles are actually proportionally larger.

It might be tough, but could you do side-views/orthos?

If you are still able to play the flash file through an old player you could use a screen recorder (Windows 11's Snipping Tool, NVidia's on screen recorder if you have that installed, etc) to record it to MP4. I've preserved some old videos that way.

Publiusr, not sure what you want. It may not be orthogonal, but I posted a sideview. I did draw the other views in the intro, but no orthogonals sadly.

Here are the beauty shots I recreated from the Star Trek opening. They were made in illustrator so I could scale them the size of jupiter and the lines would still be crisp. o7

I have to admit, I kinda cringed when I saw the revised version CBS made. With a little bit more skill and help, I bet you quatloos I coulda nailed that model even better than above.

This is my old 3DS Max ship brought into Blender. Sadly she's got some corruption. And I am just beginning blender and still learning the basics.

I'm currently working on a new original design based on the Daedalus class starship. This is a work in progress

BTW work on this has been paused. I got a new program, Plasticity. And I'm working on learning it. And to do so, I started a simpler mesh that I'm being very anal on. Trying to make it very accurate with very little reference.

I showed this image to Richard Hatch a long time ago. And he let me mesh HIS fighter ship in a movie he was trying to get off the ground. Fun times. o7

Fireproof, here's a mesh I'm trying to get working. Learning how to use the toon lines in renders. Just starting. There's a seam down the center because two halves aren't united. yet.


BJ, I met him after his Battlestar Trailer. He was working on something called The Great War of Magellan. I was one of 3 artists that made the Stilleto. If you look up that vid on youtube, it's the slim fighter with a box of a wing shape. o7
