This is an interesting season, I hope they get sick of Phillip soon.

Everybody's sick of Phillip, but it's in Ometepe's best interests to keep him around for as long as possible. You want to take a polarizing figure like him with you to maximize your chances of swaying the jury toward you.

I get the logic, but still he runs his mouth way too much to keep to the end, it would drive me nuts. They are just going to throw him under the bus anyway, i'd rather do it now and start getting rid of the useless coat tail riding girls. From watching recent seasons, the coat tail riding girls have been winning because they don't piss anyone off. Rob is going to throw everyone under the buss, so someone needs to realize that and start licking Zapatera ass.

It may be a good strategy if it were a strategy, but I think Phillip just behaves like that in real life too.

You really have to get rid of all the Zapatera tribe members first. It's just too much of a risk that one of them could go on an immunity run. There's already enough risk from whoever comes out of Redemption Island.

This was crazy episode man. Philip went on a tirade and made an a$$ out of himself. However after this episode he became the biggest goat to take to the final.
Ometepe are doing the smart thing in getting rid of Julia. She surely was a biggest Zapatera threat left. I will ever be grateful for Julie for taking out Russell and now with hiding Philip shorts.. David reaction to Philip in his underwear was priceless at tribal

Apparently, the American War Library is the only place for accessing the lists for most of the awards. I downloaded their online software and looked at the Meritorious Service Medal List. It's not a complete list (with a lot of names yet to be confirmed, etc.), but the only Sheppard listed was a Stanley Troyce Sheppard rather than a Phillip Sheppard. *shrugs*

Redemption Island is getting a bit crowded. I hope they only allow one person (from the second RI) back in the game and that he/she doesn't automatically go straight into the final two/three.

Kind of a bland episode, no real twists except for the double tribal council, but we knew how both votes were going to go. I'm guessing the next Redemption Island duel will be a double elimination.

These episodes have been bland for the last few weeks. At least it looks like next week the game will get back to actually being played. After tonight I am sick and tired of these girls, especially Natalie and Ashley. I really hope they don't win, but they probably will.

Matt is still in, wow. Andrea will probably go next, god forbid anyone should have compassion on this show. The other two girls will probably be thrown under the bus soon enough. So far, i'm seeing a jury that will not vote for Rob, this is good. He's shooting himself in the foot.

That would be an epic final 2 (And if it's a final 3, you can add Grant to it). That might save the season if that's what happens, even though if Grant was in the final 3, he'd probably get all the votes because of the challenges.

Which is why Rob will never bring Grant to the finals if he can help it. He'd probably choose Phillip and one of the mindless girls that have done nothing to earn a spot in the finals.


I'm just hoping the show will pick up now that the Ometepe tribe has to start eating their own. I've gotten really tired of everyone blindly following Rob. Between that and Matt's constant God talk, the show has been beyond dull the last few weeks.

The god talk is annoying, as if god is watching survivor and has a mission for Matt. Besides we all know god watches sports, not Survivor. I love how he says my god, like he has his own personal god. Despite all of that, I hope to god(pun intended) he makes it back in and kicks Rob's ass. I love the dirty look he gave Andrea. Unfortunately, the way things are looking it will be Rob and Phillip at the final, Zapatera will have to choose between two douche bags.

While Boston Rob Mariano is still sweating it out on "Survivor: Redemption Island," in real life he is about to launch a new series in the History Channel called "Around the World in 80 Ways." Mariano and Dennis Anderson (creator of Gravedigger, a famous monster truck) will host the 10-part series that premieres later this year.

The hook is they will circumnavigate the globe using 80 different modes of transportation without repeating a single vehicle. The travel modes will include a blimp, a fighter jet, an ostrich, a canoe, a chariot and sometimes they'll have to build their own vehicles. Sometimes they'll work cooperatively and sometimes they'll race. Cool.

That was the first episode this season that I found to be lacklustre. I think now they start having to eat their own it'll get real interesting though. Would like to see the Redemption Island reunion between Matt and Andrea, assuming he's still there when she gets the boot.

I wonder if they're planning to reintroduce two people in to the game?

Really the only good things about this season are that the idiot tribe that threw a challenge just to spite Russell got systematically obliterated and that Jesus-boy cries a lot.

Philip started out annoying... became briefly entertaining... and has been back in full-on annoying mode lately... that said he's probably my preference for winner, given how uninteresting this bunch is to me.
