Survivor: Fans Vs. Favorites (Spoilers)

Yeah, this episode rocked again. :)

Does anyone have an idea what Amanda's&Paravati's reasoning for choosing Alexis was?

I think it was the same reason the rest of the tribe chose Amanda: she'd be too much of a threat with the jury. She was friendly, people liked her, etc.

I kind of hate Amanda after last night, she was really annoying me with her sad eyes and her attempts to guilt trip Cirie and especially poor Erik. And she was so bloody self-righteous about the Immunity Idol. You didn't lie about having it? Maybe not technically, but you also said you couldn't find the underwater clue and you just gave up and it was so hard wah wah wah, then during TC you repeated the same story, saying you didn't have it, even though you DID then.

My favourite part of the last 3 episodes continues to be Eliza's facial expressions during TC. Also glad to see Ozzy's bitterness seems to have faded somewhat. I still look forward to him tearing into the girls in the final TC, especially if it comes down to Cirie and Parvati or something.

And can I just say....Parvati's mom is totally a milf :p

Oh no, someone lying on Survivor, how terrible?!?? ;)

I don't blame Amanda at all, she acted her part well. And she had to, if the others had considered the possibility she had the idol, she couldn't have disrupted the hostile alliance so well.

And I hope she wins, although I wouldn't mind Parvati or Cirie winning either. Cirie seems to be in an excellent spot to get the million if she can get rid of Amanda until the final tribal council and her weakness in the challenges isn't her downfall.

 What bugged me wasn't that she lied, is was that she later was like "Just to clarify, I didn't have it then so I didn't lie at all! See how honest I am? Honest and clever?" She's always come off as nothing but a spoiled brat to me.

I'm not a Parvati fan, but I'd be fine with Cirie winning. I'm personally rooting for the two remaining 'fans', right now, Erik and Natalie, though it's pretty clear Erik's likely to get picked off as soon as he doesn't win immunity, and I doubt Natalie could win a jury vote.

Well first of all, those sad eyes were tearing me up, if you get my drift. Hubba, hubba. But I thought the girl deserved an Emmy for that performance last night. That was an awesome turn of events at the tribal council.

They could have taken out Natalie and left Alexis for later. That knee is not going to last long.

That's what I thought too! Though you have to wonder about how many challenges are left and what are thier nature. Still, Natalie would have been my choice.

Parvati and Amanda have a big 'X' on them now too. Led by Natalie the remaining players will join up to eliminate them one at a time and Cirie will fly under the radar to the end. So I'm thinkin' for now!

Good play on Amanda's part, but I think she should have targeted Natalie instead. First of all, Natalie appears to be more conniving and ruthless than Alexis, and that makes her a threat. Secondly, with the injury to her leg, Alexis probalby wouldn't have been much of a physical threat. Sure, Natalie would be easier to beat in the finals, but you have to get there first.

Sorry to see James go out because of an injury. There's a good chance he woud have been targeted had he not left, but it's got to suck to not even get an opportunity to save yourself.

Amanda is playing to win but she and Parvati are so annoying I just want to punch the screen. Lies on Survivor are a given.. they help you to win so I'm never going to fault anyone for lying. But when those two empty-headed bikinis (and let's face it: is there anything more plastic see-through than a pouty Amanda??? ) scheme, a little innocent bird dies somewhere...

And Natalie has just devolved into a monster.

So I suppose one of them deserves to win. But I'm rooting for Cerie at this point. Her game is undercover and I'd love to see her trump them bitches

No one is talking about Erik but of the fans, I think he's played the best game. I hope he wins even though Amanda was right about him last night. Still, he is impressive in the challenges and has as good a shot as anyone else. Looking forward to seeing how this unfolds, which all ends next week.

I don't think anyone's "led" by Natalie.
And the integrity of the "girls"(+Erik) alliance seems doubtful now anyway imo.

No, they are too pretty to be annoying. ;)

I see it a bit differently. I don't think Erik is playing a good game: He's just had the dumb luck of falling on the right side of other people's alliances. He may just make it to the finals, but if he does, I don't see too many of the jury voting for him. As pissed off as a jury member might initially be about being voted off, when it comes to the final vote, they usually look at who's played the best game overall. And more often than not, they realize that all of the scheming and what-not is part of game. Unless Erik starts actively trying to take control of his destiny, I don't think the jury would respect him enough to vote for him.

I've been impressed with Cirie.. she has quietly drected the departure of several key peple while not drawing any attention to herself. I don't think she will beat Amanda if they are in the finals together. The hidden immunity idol finally did what it was suppose too - shake everything up.

Yeah, the surprises each week are really great. I do wish that Natalie had gone home instead of Alexis though - Natalie is a much bigger threat in the challenges and will definitely stab you in the back next chance she gets. Alexis, however, was voted most honest and isn't likely to win anything, so why get rid of her first? Yeah you would never win against her in the final two, but everyone realizes that and no one would end up taking her even if she made it to the final 3, so I don't see that as a big issue.

"I've lost my reign as dumbest survivor ever." - James referencing Erik. Great seeing the votes up front this time.

What a fucking idiot!

How stupid do you have to be to win immunity and then give it up when there's only five people left?
