Survivor: Fans Vs. Favorites (Spoilers)

I've been meaning to look at the Ponderosa thing but I couldn't remember the name of it...thanks for reminding me, I'll check it out later today.

It's pretty good. I know people liked the Elimination station for The Amazing Race, so this is kinda like that. Of course you get to watch them eat a lot of good food (I think Steak was a feature this week) but it's still really good insight and changes the perspective of the jury from the people who just sit there like statues, to people who are kind of "strategizing" in a sense.

btw. James is fucked. (unfortunately, because I like him), he's soooo going home next week. Ozzy's old alliance will get voted out, one by one. Erik isn't really a threat in any way, and Amanda isn't in the challenges, so it'll be James' turn. Jason probably is alright for a while because everyone knows he doesn't have a clue of how to play the game. Cirie is a bitch, but I think she really is damn smart, she's totallly pulling the strings - great player. James is done. And he still is the most stupid player in Survivor history (2 idols with 3 rounds to go - dammit...) ;)

I think that might be the first time I felt really uncomfortable watching an episode of Survivor. God Natilie is a cunt and I hope she is voted out really soon. I can't believe she brought out that much evil side in her and I hope it comes back to bite her ass in the end. Jason showed how stupid he was by not playing the idol and the girls took complete advantage of it. I was a little confused about Amanda though. I guess she joined the girls for security, but why not pull a blindside and vote out Parverti or something? I don't know why she broke away from James.

I'm really liking this season, but this episode just seemed so wrong on so many levels.

Hahah, and I was watching last night and falling more and more in love with Natalie. I was really impressed with her last night, and glad that Jason's gone.

Although James and Erik knew what was going on...I would've liked to see them plot together and talk to Jason, tell him Natalie was gonna backstab him and to vote Parvati, and if James could talk Amanda into it too, then they could've pulled off another stunner. As it's looking now, it'll be an all-girl Top 5....and wow, I wouldn't wanna be there when the 5 of them have to start turning on each other...

^^^
I think Jason was too stupid for that, he totally fell for "the girls", he probably would even have denunciated James to Natalie. What a fool.
The guys wouldn't even have needed Amanda to kick out one of the women if Jason had played the idol...

Oh, Jason was definitely too stupid for that...possibly the most naïve and trusting person I've ever seen on the show. Without Amanda though, wouldn't it've still come down to 3 for James vs 3 for Parvati then, had all 3 guys voted for her? I only started watching a few weeks ago, so I don't know who has more past votes against them (assuming that's how they still settle ties).

Yeah but who's the most stupid? Amanda flat out told James what was up and James did nothing to try to turn the game around by tipping off Jason. When Amanda did that, I though "Ah-ha! Now the guys can turn the tables and get one of the gals." And then he did nothing.

So I'd have to rate James a little worse in the "no so bright" category. I mean I really like the guy, but DUH! Amanda told you what the play was and you just let it happen.

Ozzy's Glare of Death was worth seeing (as was his silent salute). Worth it that is, knowing he's stewing in his own juices! Get over it, you screwed up.

Yeah, James and Jason are both idiots. Jason for being naive and way too trusting, and James for never making the moves when he needs to. Far too often he just sits back and lets the backstabbing go on around him. Which is good, for a few weeks. But at some point you have to step up and do something, especially when you're the strongest guy left. You have to know that very soon they are going to be turning on you...you have to turn on them first. It's like he's watching the game instead of playing it, and then all of a sudden it's "oh shit! I'm out."

Natalie has become really scary. She took such delight in bringing down Jason. It would be understandable if she was taking out someone cocky like Ozzy, but this was Jason! The guy hasn't hurt anyone and probably never would.

I don't care for Natalie, but it was a smart move to get rid of Jason and the immunity idol in one swoop. Of course, it helped that Jason was as gullible as he was and no one else was smart enough to make a countermove.

For a show consisting of Favorites (who should know from past experience) and Fans (who supposedly understand the game), there sure are a lot of stupid players out there. I was expecting a little more finesse in regards to the plotting and strategizing, but most of these players seem to be making the same mistakes we've seen in the past.

I HATE Cirie. She is absolutely worthless, useless, and dumb IMHO. Hope James wins, since Ozzy is out.

Seems for him to have a chance, James has to win immunity from here on out. Or he must be exiled soon and discover the new idol. (Then wait for Tribal, not play it, and go down in history...)

I think the girls should've let Jason and James think they were going to vote Jason out.

Then Jason would've played the immunity idol (it's out of play for a bit again).

THEN...they should've voted James out.

That would've gotten the strongest man out, taken the idol out again, and kept the naive, easy-to-vote-out player in.

Well, the girls are going to have to start targeting each other soon.

The bottom rung girls will have to make a move before it's too late.

It might be best to make a move before the guys are out.

Then again maybe not.

If James finger doesn't take him out of the game, he could run the table on challenges.

Nah, the girls are better off taking James out while they can. Then Eric.

Then it'd be a cat-fight. I think Natalie or Cirie would win. Probably Cirie because she seems better at staying under the radar lately.

You say that, and she is playing like she's the smartest player there. She hasn't alienated anyone yet, and she always manages to hook up with the stronger alliance. I really have a feeling she is going to win.

This season is slowly becoming my favorite season ever. Guatamala was awesome but this one is unpredictable week after week after week. Good going Amanda for pretty much tossing another wrench in the game. The look on Natalie's face was absolutely priceless when Amanda played it. Definately can't wait till next week.
