Surely something good happened to you today

I didn't even know you could do that.

What, buy your own spare parts, sure you can just have to make sure you are buying genuine spares by checking serial numbers and such. Most items like that can be bought on Ebay including the control boards for these appliances

Experienced aquaplaning and bumped into another car due to extremely bad road conditions. Ended up with a scratch on my car and no visible damage to the other. Didn't even have to file a traffic accident report. Feeling incredibly lucky and relieved I can leave my car at work for the weekend until it is safer to drive.

This didn't happen to me, but I saw it and I wanted to bring it up.

So a frail old lady in a chair with wheels (not a wheelchair) that was being pushed around, hit a plastic bump that separates a carpeted area from the tile flooring, she fell over and hit the floor, which shockingly did not result in her death considering how old and frail she is.

The person pushing her tried to lift her, but then two strangers came in and showed some goodness and helped slowly lift her chair back up.

People can be good and there for you. I rushed over to try and help, but stopped because I saw that by the time I got there, it would be completed.

I did something kind of similar a few weeks ago. An elderly woman with a cane, wasn't paying attention and her cane fell to the floor. While she could have picked it up, I could see she was in poor shape and it would have been difficult for her, so I went over and did it myself.

I was streaming SPIDER-MAN 2 this morning. Five minutes ago I started crying during a scene I'd seen at least six times before. One guess on which specific scene it was.

Celebrated our 22nd anniversary--one day late, because hubby had his game day with his friends.

Today, we went out to do our grocery shopping and then went out to our favorite sandwich place, which we hadn't gone to in a year. We're broke, so we hadn't eaten out in a long time.

He gave me a card and let me pick the movie we watched tonight. A nice, quite evening.

Sounds cool. Celebrating each other doesn't mean spending on fancy meals or gifts.

We love a carpet picnic and movie (Usually pretty woman as my wife's fave), for our anniversary.

I had a delightful lengthy talk with the daughter of an Oscar nominee Saturday afternoon. I told her I owned one of her dad's three most famous films at home in two formats. She lives one county away. John Guare was right. (Two degrees of separation.)
