My pickup and car that have touch screens from the factory, also have regular controls for most of the functions as well. My 11-year-old pickup had the module (APIM) that controls the touch screen start to fail. I was able to find a replacement at Amazon for less than $500, that was preprogrammed to my vehicle, was an upgraded system, and took about a half hour to install. It also added the features of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, depending on which phone you pair it up with.Today I finally junked my 18-year-old Ford Focus and bought a used 2017 Toyota Prius. So far I'm really enjoying my new car. It's modern enough to have useful features like a backup camera and proximity sensor, but it still has physical controls instead of those stupid touchscreens.
Luckily, the internet at my house that was malfunctioning fixed itself before I had to pay for a service call.
I also was able to repair my washing machine. The loads of laundry kept unbalancing and making a racket. I bought some replacement shocks and installed them today.
