I ordered 6 things from Amazon, and was expecting all but 2 of them to arrive early next week.
FIVE of the items came in today! With the last one expected ETA updated even earlier than I thought it would be.

Yesterday I messaged someone I hadn't seen since high school on Facebook. He responded and we spent a good couple of hours on the phone catching up on the last 50-plus years.
Just a few minutes ago, I saw five raccoons on a tree in front of my apartment building. A couple of girls in the building said they were afraid the critters might jump on them. I guess they were confusing raccoons with drop bears.

Got my HOA payment in the mail WAY early this year. That's one thing off my list of things to worry about.
I've been doing really well in English class
One more day before the holiday break. That's two weeks without pay but family said they would throw us few bucks for Christmas.
Teacher was sick yesterday, so I am on vacation since yesterday 
One of the local grocery store chains had fried chicken in their deli on sale. Regular price for the 8 piece (4 drum sticks and 4 thighs) is $10.99, but Friday only it's $4.99. I got two 8 piece orders. So I'm having fried chicken for supper for the rest of the week, through next Friday.
I guess this is a good thing that happened to me but it might've come at the expense of other people.
Went to Whole Foods to return an Amazon purchase. Line was long but there were two automated return machines to the side that no one was using. So I walked past everyone and did my return. Unless they were all there for multiple returns and/or needing to talk to the employee about their return, I'm thinking some of them just saw the long line and assumed it was the only line? Even after I did my return and left, walking past the line on the way out, no one in the line moved.

Today I finally junked my 18-year-old Ford Focus and bought a used 2017 Toyota Prius. So far I'm really enjoying my new car. It's modern enough to have useful features like a backup camera and proximity sensor, but it still has physical controls instead of those stupid touchscreens.
I went in on Wednesday for lab work (venipuncture) for a scheduled appointment. The lab closed before I got there, even though I arrived on time. I scheduled a second appointment on Friday at the same local lab, I arrived again, and the doors were locked, with a note on the door of new hours 7am to 10am, and my appointment time was 11:45. I went online and opened an account with a different lab in the same city, and they had an appointment time opening up, so I was able to get my lab done at 2:00 pm, and I won't go back to the first lab that locks it doors, and closes early, on patients with appointments, twice in the same week.
My pickup and car that have touch screens from the factory, also have regular controls for most of the functions as well. My 11-year-old pickup had the module (APIM) that controls the touch screen start to fail. I was able to find a replacement at Amazon for less than $500, that was preprogrammed to my vehicle, was an upgraded system, and took about a half hour to install. It also added the features of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, depending on which phone you pair it up with.
Not much to be happy about right now....but at least I have blueberry muffins in the kitchen and a cat on my couch.
I thought this was a good thing. It made me smile today

Luckily, the internet at my house that was malfunctioning fixed itself before I had to pay for a service call.
I also was able to repair my washing machine. The loads of laundry kept unbalancing and making a racket. I bought some replacement shocks and installed them today.

I did that with an old LG washer. I bought two valves for the inlets and did it all myself. Was very proud and it all worked, oddly they were electrical which I wasn't expecting but it wasn't hard to do after watching a video.
