Just got back from a wonderful trip to the Dominican Republic! It was hot but also amazing. There had been a lot of negative news stories about the DR in the past couple of months, but those didn't represent the people of the DR at all. They were very kind, hospitable and easy-going. Hope to go back sometime!

Yes, you're right. I was confused by "reclaim" which could also mean recycle.

We don't know for sure, although I've always suspected that they're numerical designations (the suffix "ok" may be the Cardassian equivalent of "th", as in 4th, 5th, 6th, etc.).

Today I went to the local market, it was exhilarating. It's very different from the ones in my former place. All sorts of new local products and fish. I am not ready to cook a Bouillabaisse yet though.
