Surely something good happened to you today

Got out of the house; picked up a box of Christmas crackers (poppers) and a new kitty bed for Junior.

 

I met a very friendly border collie on my way to work It's so nice to see a friendly face first thing in the morning. And to get flooded with sympathy

One of my best friends stopped by to exchange our Christmas gifts! I haven't seen her in a long time so it was fun!

 

Well, let's see...

Got my Epiphone Casino earlier this week so my "stable is now three six-string electrics, one 12-string electric, one acoustic and one bass... only need a few more to fully cover my tonal pallet.

But I needed some new strings for it which didn't come in until today so back to the store I went. I almost exclusively deal with the manager (known him for over 20 years) and asked for him. He wasn't in yet but the girl that helped... Such a deep conversation we found ourselves having we actually went to a different part of the store. So much in common personally and philosophically and she played me a track of hers she had on her phone. Her voice is just beaitiful and exactly what I've been looking for for a couple tracks on an album I'm working.

We're going to meet for coffee and talk about collaborating. Had my friend been in first thing in the morning that girl and I would have never talked.

 

Not exactly. Lassie is a Rough Collie.

 

I knew there was "Collie" in there...

 

The good news is that a few new friends that I made this year sent me xmas postcards, the bad news is that now I have to reciprocate and I hate to do that, (writing postcards, not reciprocating).

 

I am getting my Christmas baking done!!

 

We won't tell as long as we get some cookies.

 

well my nose stopped bleeding today ,,, a couple of times it bleed then stopped, few years back I ended in the hospital cause it would not stop .. they .. put a contraption up my nose and taped it to my face for like a week ,,, that sucked.. but it has been stopping after about 10-15 minutes of flow .. so it is good.. that thing up my nose was weird.. you know. I just got a new humidify this month and using it all the time. so yeah.. that might be what is helping .

 

I've bought a mountain bike and used it to explore the surroundings (especially the parts that are inaccessible to cars) and the exercise is doing me a lot of good, plus some of the views are breathtaking.

 

I am getting my Christmas non-baking done.

For two reasons: 1) I can't cook anything more complicated than a piece of toast, and 2) I don't have an oven (see #1).

I'm also crying like a baby because that Short Trek "Ephraim and Dot" may be like the cutest thing that has ever existed.

 

Dancing to Christmas songs and waiting to start our Christmas Eve. Love to keep stopping by the snack table!

 

I did something new and it was good.

Oh yeah the details..

I had bran flakes with almond vanilla milk but this time I put cinnamon on the flakes.. OMG great.

 

Finally got all the hotels booked for our trip to Wales next year.

 

It's Christmas! Thankful for Jesus!

 

Today was a day off work... then again I've got 26 of these this month.
