Surely something good happened to you today

Don't read Debt of Honor while flying in a 747 over Japan. I made that error.

LoL! It was Without Remorse which is the first one continuity wise. It'll probably be a while until I get to that one.

I really liked Nelson Demille's Novels; especially the ones with John Corey, what a great character! What surprised me is that that guy didn't score more than he did. You'd imagine a guy like that would be covered with girls. These novels, I am told are extremely close to reality and demanded a lot of research work, plus he practically anticipated 9/11 about three years earlier. Maybe Bush should have had him in his government... Nelson Demille Imean, not the fictitious character.;)

mmmm so I have to report that waking up was the highlight of my day mostly everything else was just a routine.. but --- waking was the Good happening that was also routine . I like that -- now. never did you know. :--

I've been looking at online photography tutorials in preparation of buying a new DSLR camera on Friday. It's been roughly six years since I used one. I've already made plans to visit a couple of places this month and they're pretty close to each other.

The old camera broke just as I was starting to find my niche. Luckily, both lenses (18-55mm and 70-300mm) are still in storage. The prospect of taking photos again is scary and exciting.

I've retrieved an old dedicated book in one of the moving boxes (funny enough it was an unopened box from the former moving!!) I was never much of a collector or an autograph seeker but this one fell into my lap so to speak. Plus I knew personally the author's daughter... Anyway, I got quite a madeleine moment with that book.:)
