I discovered last night that Acorn is having a free preview for a few days, so I'm burning through series 5 of "Line of Duty" as fast as I can. My Friday will consist of snacks and great UK television. Woot!

I will say, I won a thing that has no prize but gets your name mentioned on the website.
Got home after a long road trip.
Something good happened: I made it to the weekend! I've felt behind all week, but here at the end it came together well enough to be done, without carrying any of it with me into the weekend or the week ahead. 
A relative made me a delicious rhubarb pie! I love rhubarb pie, and haven’t had any in ages.
Got to have a good fish sandwich yesterday and an ICEE .

I pulled out my receipt from a local Piggly Wiggly. I had purchased a Land O'Lakes small tub of honey butter. The receipt reads:

I haven't seen a Piggly Wiggly since I was a teenager. They don't still have those deals where you have to lick stamps and stick them on a piece of paper in order to get a special price, do they?

Now they have deals in expired food (see the Frustrations thread posts I made in the last couple months...); and they claim to get things "at cost" and add 10% to make their profit, yet their prices are higher or slightly higher than Wal-Mart (who is not selling at cost, ever), so when you add the 10% on top of regular state sales taxes, you pay more often than you would at Wal-Mart.

Tons of new stuff came out today about the upcoming Trek shows! I was on the edge of my seat as people were reporting about it! Lots to look forward to!
