Hubby finally got Comcast to send us a new DVR.

My cousin and her family (who live in Florida) just texted me back.

Mostly nothing happened today, and some say no news is good news 
I caught a shoplifter at my store today.
Yeah, I admit I felt good about it. 
Guy was a real creep. Looked like an unsub from Criminal Minds.
Of course I never blocked or tried to restrain the guy (they don't let us do that, and there's not a chance in hell I would have tried) but I openly said to him, "Sir, I know I saw you stuff a bottle of mouthwash in your clothes. I really hope you intend to pay for it. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to inform my manager." He put the bottle on a shelf and walked away.
It kinda floored me that he was trying to steal mouthwash, of all things; let's just say that this guy did not look like the type who would ever USE mouthwash, if you take my meaning.

Got a new DVR, finally.
Do they use it for anything other than what's it's meant for? I know they use some crazy stuff for cutting drugs and stuff like that.Yeah, I admit I felt good about it.

i had a careers convention trip with college and my bf took his physics admission test! uni applications getting finished up and i updated my lock/home screen to be halloween-y <333
Such is ChihuahuasMe too! He took to it pretty quickly. He’s a good dog, very affectionate. He’s super protective though. No ones allowed to hug me
I managed to buy some gasoline today.
Big deal? Well, my Orlando FL neighborhood had a shortage following the second hurricane passing by. I probably had enough left for a week, but didn't know what the future held.
Now, the station had only the 87 octane, not the higher rated blends, and my old (2011) car should get the better stuff, but then again, my tank was already half full of 91 or 93 octane, so I guess it's not bad on average.

i like doing my nails, it’s like my hobby to experiment and make my nails look nice.
My bf is really into warhammer.
Anyway, I was doing little lovehearts on my nails and it took ages because it’s a really small thing to paint and i think my brush is too big. He interrupts to suggest that his miniature painting skills are probably transferable… now he’s volunteered to be my nail artist and do lil lovehearts on my nails!!

That is kind of an odd thing to steal then.
This reminds of something my mom ran into, she went into a older Wal-Mart in a little less nice part of town, and they had all of the socks and underwear locked up. The only reason they would do that is because people are stealing them, and I actually find it kind of sad that there are people in that area who are so desperate that they actually stealing socks and underwear. They strike me as the kind of thing you'd only steal out of desperation, if you were stealing for fun you'd probably go for something more interesting.
