Took my girl dog to the groomers to get her claws clipped. It worked out well.

Just spent like 3 hours getting my hair done!!! i’m a natural dark blonde but i wanted to go lighter so got highlights, and some layers around the face and curtain bangs AND IM SO HAPPY WITH IT (been wanting to go lighter blonde for like 2 years).
I finally have a low income home, I'll move on augustus first! so much to do so little time
I got a lot of weed spraying done.
The maintenance man came and fixed my sink. It has been a long going problem. I didn't really expect anything from it. It was a long shot to me but it ended up going like a breeze. He also fixed my toilet seat cover without me asking. 
Slept a full 8.5 hrs without being woken up by ANYTHING. That hasn't happened in years.
Something small, but still.
All day public transport was absolutely packed. And that's no fun, especially in hot weather.
Then on the way home from my volunteer job...there's two buses I can take (they drive the same route for the stretch I need) One of them came...and was once again almost bursting with the sweat and stench of humanity. But right behind it came the other...and, no joking...as completely empty (I guess it must have been one of those cases where they add an extra bus to a line due to high demand)
So we ended up being like five people in that bus for most of the way, because almost everybody at every stop kept squeezing into the first bus, haha.
It was nice.

After being in a coma/unconscious since Tuesday due to a viral infection that caused swelling around the brain, heart and lungs, my (step)sister finally woke up and responded to verbal and non verbal stimulus.
She's not out of the woods yet and is still on a ventilator, but it's a step in the right direction.

That sounds awesome! It's been YEARS since I've been to a convention. I miss it
It's a great deal of fun. One of the main reasons I do DragonCon is I get to meet so many of the actors/actresses and talk with them about their roles. I recently updated my autograph list for organizational purposes. I've got 447 actors/actresses (only 4 of them are ones I didn't personally meet due to death), 2 writers (co-creator of EUREKA Jaime Paglia and Jane Espenson), and Alice Cooper.
If I may ask, any particular reason or reasons you haven't been to one in years?
Money, mostly. And a cheap-ass husband.
I understand. I literally save the entire year so I can go to DragonCon.
Finally got ahold of a live person for my student loans. Since I have been having trouble with their website and phone service, they will send me paper bills and I am not in collections. This has been such an ongoing problem you have no idea what a relief this is! I think I mentioned this on 'The things that frustrate you' (?) thread.
Moving is done, now I just need to unpack
Had a great dinner out with Mom and the rest of the family. Mooch- niece and her arrogant prick boyfriend did not go, which was nice. Psycho sister went but behaved herself.
I found out I lost almost 15 pounds.
