It's not just to Snyder's approach. It's kind of an interesting reversal of the everyman trope. Most, if not all, Superman stories speak to me in some way. That's the best part of it. There's not one right way to tell the story.
Just read your post youngtrek. Thanks for that. What are your thoughts on Superman?
That visual gag from Superman '78 is brilliant.
Ahh, but some do not want to acknowledge that Superman had to make such decisions from the very start of his published life.
The marching band bit was well done. And the music they played was quite nice as well.Nice video from the Superman Homepage on the classic image of Clark Kent changing into Superman in a phone booth:
Not much has been heard lately about the new animated series, My Adventures with Superman, but it's just been confirmed it will premiere on Adult Swim later this year.

I'm generally not big on animated Superman productions, much preferring live-action adaptations, but I'm actually pretty interested in this one. The promotional art promises a lively, comedic vibe, which I think may work better than attempting to create exciting action-adventure in a low-budget cartoon. I'll definitely be checking it out.
It is interesting that neither of the promotional images released to date features Superman in costume. Character designs and interviews that have come out definitely indicate Supes will be a presence, however (though I'd personally be down with your idea).Lois is the title character.
If this was my production, I'd have zero Superman in it.
Maybe just see his cape, or see him on TV or see the after math of him being Super.
It was, now it's not. Which works for me, because fuck streaming.Adult Swim? I thought it was a HBO Max show
Why is Lois drawn looking like a teenager next to Clark?

Wasn't that the original pitch for Lois & Clark? Them they added "The New Adventures of Superman" subtitle when they decided to go more traditional.
