Tulloch: "There are deaths...involved"

...and now everyone can play the guessing game about which Superman and Lois characters will meet their maker within the space of a very short final season.

With only ten episodes to work with in the final season, not to mention an already greatly reduced cast of characters, I question whether they will or should dork around with the "death" of Superman. Seems to me they would need to bring him back so quickly that it would be little more than a pointless narrative blip.

If they had literally any money and time at all, I'd hope they'd go straight for adapting "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" or "All-Star Superman" for their final season, but, well, the behind-the-scenes news is what it is, and that terrible season finale burned away a lot of of faith.

In better news, Alex Garfin posted some behind-the-scenes photos that appear to indicate the returns of several cast members who were not (to my knowledge) previously confirmed to be appearing this season. Fucking Reddit is making it impossible for me to figure out how to embed the pictures, but you can see them in this gallery:

Former regular (now guest) actors in the pics include Sofia Hasmik, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Tayler Buck, and Dylan Walsh. :techman:

Yeah, I saw that and decided against posting it. It's kind of non-news unless somebody with the power to make it happen gets involved.

It's weird how Warner Bros. only has a problem with "competing" live-action superhero productions, but not live-action vs. animation or animation vs. animation.

That would have been great! But i don't believe it is going to happen

They already got a great Superman show on tv and they would rather cancel it. I don't see why they would want to do this show. If they want to do a Superman show on tv they should go with that Micheal B Jordan Superman idea or do more seasons with the current show.

Clearly the solution is to retitle the show to something like Metropolis, and have Clark change his name to something less Superman-like. The Blur....the Red Blue Blur....idk, something like that.

That could work if you were to bring back Smallville through a different name. Have Clark get his powers back but for some reason his ability to fly is not one of them. So he becomes the Red Blur again. Lex and Lois from the old show could also return. Add some new characters such as Kristen Wells as Superwoman and Carol Kent and Smallville's version of Otis and Van Benson who takes over for a retired Perry White.
