Considering
Christopher Nolan‘s producing credits and the
gritty new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie,
Man of Steel http://moviepilot.com/#
, you might be excused in thinking that the
Henry Cavill-starring flick will be taking a couple of leaves from
The Dark Knight Rises‘ book.
However, in a recent interview with
F*** Magazine via
Comic Book Moviehttp://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/GraphicCity/news/?a=79125, Cavill has been talking about the movie’s production, and has revealed that it’s definitely director
Zack Snyder‘s vision of Supes that we’ll be seeing on the big screen come June 14th:
Chris Nolan wasn’t there during the production itself, although I’m not sure how much work was done behind the scenes. I’m sure Zack had a phone call or two with him, but this is definitely Zack’s baby. He was the man in charge, and we created the character together, as opposed to having too many outside influences… It’s a collaborative process and Zack wants us to talk to him about stuff and work with him on his ideas. If you say, ‘how about I do this,’ he’ll say ‘I don’t know if I like it yet, but give it a shot.’
Huh. Seems as though Nolan got the ball rolling and everything else was Snyder. My bet: If it’s good Nolan will get the credit. If it isn’t Snyder will get the blame.
