Superman (casting, rumors, pix till release)

Can we talk about Jessica Alba again?

The thing about the Clark/Superman nobody-sees-through-the-disguise-thing is, we, the audience, know it, of course. But why would anyone in-universe think Superman had a secret identity? He's not wearing a mask.

And so, that journalist with the glasses looks a lot like Superman. But could it be him? Seriously, though, why would Superman, of all people, work at a newspaper. That's like, I don't know, seeing someone who looks like Matt Damon working in an office. Yeah, he looks like him, but there's no way. Maybe some even think about it enough to tell him "Hey, you know, you look a lot like Matt Damon", but he just says: "Yeah, I get that a lot. Even thought about doing some look-alike appearances, but I got little enough leisure time as it is."

But in virtually all Superman incarnations, it's only Lois who finds out that Superman and Clark Kent are the same person. How come her and not anybody else?

@indolover Lex hired scientists to figure out who Superman was and they gave him the answer of Clark Kent and he utterly rejected it because he thought it was just too ludicrous to believe, even a man of his intellect couldn't separate the two. Batman of course has also deciphered his identity in various depictions being the World's Greatest Detective.

Lana Lang, Pete Ross, Batman, everybody in the 30th century.

Who the hell would be looking at the headboard??????
Well any straight man who thought about how she'd look against it?

Re-arrange that scene with Ben Browder or Ryan Reynolds as Jessica Alba, and I can tell you, I'd be studying every part of that frame and imagining different positions against it

The real question is who should play Steve Lombard? John Goodman is the obvious choice, but I'm willing to entertain other suggestions.
