Superman (casting, rumors, pix till release)

If they can keep the curl looking fairly natural, as it does in those Cavil pics, I'm fine with it. It's just the thick, perfectly sculpted curls we saw on Reeve and Routh that I think need to go.

That looks natural to you?

The whole 'do looks like he just left Studio 54.

I think Byrne established the "burning off his beard" trick.

Byrne's psionic "explanation" for Supes' powers could have opened the door to a more practical approach to his invulnerability - ie, "reflexively invulnerable," he could choose to be less so when desired - but I don't think Byrne or anyone else ever proposed that.

^ ^Yeah it was Bryne that introduced the concept of Clark using his heat vision to shave and that it got continuously difficult each time because his skin would harden. I don't think this concept was continued on as Dennis says.

Cool!

Now, will the internets burn? We have a black Perry White AND a black Spider Man... I can only imagine those upset about Thor.

Suck it, I say.

Well, the black Spider-Man can be rationalized by it being a different character as opposed to Peter Parker.

What makes this even funnier is that Perry WHITE played by a BLACK man! Countdown to Klan entertainment!

That being said, I think that is a good choice. I can see Fishburne as the character.

True. But you used the word RATIONALized. That doesn't work with some people.

I can too.

The out of the box casting continues to be awesome. If Lex is going to be in this movie, I think they'll go with someone totally unexpected for the role as well.
