That's eight people reprising their DCAU roles: Conroy, Daly, Brown, O'Connell, Pounder, Hale, Corey Burton, and Elizondo (who played Bane in Mystery of the Batwoman, though not before, and also played the role in the Rise of Sin Tzu video game). Also two people reprising roles from non-DCAU productions: Robert Patrick was Hawkman on The Batman and Tom Wilson was Catman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. And the majority of the rest have worked on previous DC/WB Animation productions in different roles.

Been waiting for this movie for a long time (duh my avatar) and hopefully this will lead to an adaption of Superman/Batman: Supergirl since we know from the comics that the asteroid approaching Earth carries Supergirl.

I don't think it'd be possible to draw characters whose dimensions are constantly in flux, particularly their chesticles. (Thinking of that infamous Cap America image)

^ How would you feel about a Rob Liefeld art inspired cartoon? ;)

Isn't "Rob Liefeld art" an oxymoron?

Besides, characters with that many extra lines drawn on them would be impossible to animate smoothly or efficiently. The '90s X-Men animated series tried to duplicate the detailed art style of the comics, and the animation was stiff and jerky as a result (although the fact that they went with a lousy animation studio was a factor too). There's a reason animated shows these days almost always use more simplified, cartoony design styles. They can be animated much more fluidly and expressively, as well as more quickly.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tell us something we don't know.
