Supergirl TV Series is being work on.

And none of that changes my previous statement.

I prefer to wait in order to see what the makers intended instead of being spoiled by something that is most likely incomplete and not in it's final form.

It actually looked pretty complete and fully assembled to me, with the same quality of effects we're used to from Flash and Arrow. The only thing that looked off was her cape in some flying scenes at the end, but that was due more to the costume itself than the CG, so I'm not sure how they'll be able to fix that (other than by just completely refilming it).

I do look forward to seeing if the pilot has been edited any differently though for broadcast, with maybe some new music or new footage.

There was also no 'Supergirl' in the title splash screen. Just the 'S', which came one third of the way into the episode. Plus, they have to add credits.

Neither the '88 Ruby-Spears Superman, Batman:TAS, or Superman: TAS ever actually showed the title written out onscreen in the main title sequence (although the first of those had it spoken aloud by narrator Bill Woodson). And the Batman Forever title screen was the Batman logo with "Forever" superimposed. I've come to think of those logos as basically hieroglyphs, symbols that represent the associated names. So maybe Supergirl is doing the same. Well, probably not, but there is precedent.

^ You're right. Didn't even notice, and I just watched Batman: TAS a few months ago.

I can see a big Batman or Superman production doing it for style because they're so iconic but I think they'll have to add the 'Supergirl' title to this show. It's not one of those "obviously Supergirl" situations. Guess we'll see though.

[Edit] As an aside, "Fight Song" played during the car ad before the YouTube clip started. Yeah, that thing is everywhere.

Do people really put much stock in IMDB ratings? I've always figured it was about as accurate and reliable as the Youtube comments section or something. Especially when you see how many people voted 1/10 (mostly spiteful comic nerds, I'm sure).

If the people voting on the IMDB ratings are the same trolls, misfits and psychopaths who post on the IMDB message boards then I'd take the ratings with big heavy bags of salt. The posters there are worse than the AInt It Cool News folks.
