Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

I was watching a comicon Teen Wolf panel on youtube, and Teen Wolf says to 4 thousand screaming fangirls "Do I think Tyler is coming back to Teen Wolf next season? I dunno?" he takes out his cellphone "Lets call him and find out!"

:)

Cellphones are amazing.

Not totally independently. Winn knew about Superman's costume, obviously.

Yes, of course, but his first couple of tries were clearly not attempts to emulate it. (The first draft was based on the skimpy/sexy version worn by the comics' Supergirl in the early 2000s, and after that, Winn resisted going with a cape until he saw that it was useful for stabilization in flight.) And Kara was trying to establish herself as a distinct hero. They may have ended up converging on certain similar choices because they worked, but it was quite overt that they weren't simply copying Superman's look. So there should be a difference in detail.

The costumes should bear some resemblance to each other, if only to reinforce their relationship as cousins, and Superman's influence on her. I would like to see her change to a new costume as well; its not like that's something uncommon to comic book characters.

Maybe they'll only show him texting Kara so they won't have to worry about his costume.
I had a similar thought. I don't think we know for sure that we'll actually be seeing him as Superman, all we know so far is that Clark is coming to visit Kara. Maybe he'll just be there as a civilian and he'll leave all of the superheroing to Kara.

On the Clark side, I would like to see how strong his friendship with Jimmy is, despite Olsen "breaking free" by moving away. Really play up how Jimmy is as much his family as a non-Lois human can get.

One thing the New 52 did really well was make Jimmy and Clark contemporaries age wise. It really showed that they were friends who liked to hang out with each other and do normal things rather than just helping fight crime together. I'd like to see this in the show--how does Kara feel when her boyfriend and cousin whom she hasn't seen in a long time start reminiscing about old times and sharing in-jokes that she "had to be there" to find amusing?

Here's exactly what Andrew Kreisberg said in announcing Superman's appearance:
“Greg, Ali and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” says Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!”

I was being facetious about him just tweeting Kara but if they did have Clark and didn't put him in the suit I'd be disappointed that they didn't woo Tom Welling for the role because that's be just too big a meta joke to pass up.

With them just showing the last episode of season one here last night, I'm not surprised that Superman will appear in the first episode - He just has to wake up first:D

I been thinking about a list of things I hope the series will explore or show now that we will actually be seeing Superman as a full character. If not his first two appearances, eventually.

1 We have seen Kara in his Fortress of Solitude. It will be great to actually have him there with her now!

2 It had been hinted at a few times Superman knew about J'onn being on Earth. I hope they get scenes together and some insight into their past relationship.

3 Same goes for Kara's adoptive parents the Danvers. He must have been fairly close and certainly trusting of them to intrust them in raising his cousin.
