Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

Sorry, but no.
He got the most screentime in Season 1 by virtue of being the romantic lead.

What series were you watching? James was also the moral center who helped shape Supergirl as a hero, as she was on wobbly legs (heroically speaking) throughout most of the first season.

As for other characters "that mean little"... you do know other people watch this show and actually like all those other characters as well, right?

You do know that others have been actively criticizing the attention paid to Alex and minor characters, right?

So sorry you're not getting enough James in your life, but as others have pointed out, this isn't a Kara & James show, it has an ensemble cast,[/quote]

No, its the Alex and Her Costumed Friend Show.

Your complaints might carry more weight if you weren't also in the same breath arguing to completely axe the most mature, believable, honest and realistic romance there is in the Arrowverse...

...and which relationship would that be, since the most mature relationship was axed--at the start of Supergirl season 2.

Condescending much?

Said the guy who cannot stand opinions not selling SG as the greatest series in TV history (mischaracterized as "hate"), so you tell other members to:

Go ahead and leave the thread

It is not your job or position to order Rowan Sjet (or anyone else) from this--or any thread...but its not a surprise that some of the most aggressive SG defenders in this thread have been called out for making personal attacks.

Rowan Sjet said he/she was done with Supergirl if Mon-El isn't gone by the end of the season, and since it has already been confirmed that he's going to remain part of the show, there's no reason for Rowan not to just stop watching the show right now and not participate in this thread any longer, which is all I was saying.

So?
You're welcome to your opinion (no matter how wrong it is :p), but your stubborn refusal to acknowledge that anyone could possibly like Alex and her stroyline this season isn't really conductive to any sort of debate...

..far different than:

Go ahead and leave the thread

How Rowant Sjet decides to deal with his viewing choices is that member's business, and does not need to be barked at or prodded toward a decision by anyone else.

^ I've explained the context of my comment and why I worded it the way that I did. You continuing to intentionally take it out of context and attack me for it does you no favors as far as being taken seriously - by me or anyone else - is concerned.

I hate HR on The Flash, but I recognize that my only options at this point are to put up with his presence or stop watching the show because the reality of the situation is that he's not going anywhere, and the same thing applies when it comes to Mon-El.

That doesn't stop HR from being Murdered, skipping to another show, turning out to be evil all along, or going anywhere else in the universe other than home.

There's a line in an episode from this season (I think it might be Untouchable) that pretty much solidifies the fact that H.R. isn't going anywhere, but we'll see what happens.

Mon-El was already a reluctant prince by the time Krypton exploded. Kara's didn't so much change him as instead encourage, however unknowingly on her part, the better person that was already inside Mon-El to come out.

O'RLY? Is that why (in the latest Daxam destruction Flashback we saw) Mon-El was awoken by the carnage with two women in his bed whom he promptly pushed away and ignored as he ran out to the Courtyard (pushing aside one or two more Palace Guards along the way - before his bodyguard killed a Kryptonian diplomat and shoved Mon-El into the ship and auto-lauched it?;)

First off, he was only with one woman. Second, it was his bodyguard who urged him to leave her and ignore the others in need; Mon-El himself wore a conflicted expression, as if he wanted to help, but he gave into his bodyguard's pressure. He had the potential for compassion, but he'd been raised in an environment that encouraged him to be self-centered, so that potential went unexpressed. It wasn't until he met Supergirl and her friends that he began to develop that side of his character.

Go ahead and leave the thread, then, because Mon-El isn't going anywhere.

Chris Wood already confirmed that the writers have at least a two-year arc planned for his character.
No you.

I would like a source on that though, whether from you or anyone else, as the only news I've seen confirming anyone's character coming back is about Katie McGrath's Lena, despite extensive googling.

That was my read on it, too.

I'd re-watch the scene...

I am pretty sure there was only girl and the bodyguard acted alone before he could react in the murder of the Diplomat.. He was torn about the girl but basically his upbringing combined with the lack of time he had as his world was crumbling around him clearly overrode any personal judgement. it was like watching someone on auto pilot and his bodyguard was very insistent he was going in that pod.

Pick up the April edition of Sci-Fi magazine. There's an article/interview with Chris Wood in the issue in which he specifically says that Supergirl's writers spoke to him about a multi-season arc for his character.

There is also a scan of the relevant portion of the article that can be found by going to the following link:

Backpedaling will not help change what your statement meant: "Go ahead and leave the thread." The more you defend this indefensible position, the more you appear guilty.
