Maybe they'll bring Amanda Waller back from the dead and reconstitute the Suicide Squad. It's based on Comics after all.

Supergirl was NEVER under any restrictions regarding whether they could or could not show Superman. They handled the character the way they did purely because they wanted to keep the focus on Kara, but did not want her to exist in a world without her cousin.

Whatever the motivation was for 'retroactively embargoing' Suicide Squad-related characters was, said embargo applied/applies ONLY to Arrow.

The version of Clark who exists on "Earth-S" is in his mid-30s, and is a few years older than Jimmy (who is around 32), so they're going to be looking at people who are in that age range as part of this open casting call that they're doing.
