Spoilers Supergirl - Season 2

Why would Barry think to look outside of Central City for his friends if that's where he was expecting them to be... especially when the absence of STAR Labs means that they likely wouldn't be in a position to help him?

Right. For all we know, on Supergirl's Earth, Cisco Ramon never became a scientist and ended up as, ohh, a professional breakdancer.

Also there could dopplegangers who have different names on Earth S. Due to numerous differences in their pasts. Divorces, adoptions, etc. Or as simply as their parents picking an alternate choice for their first name.

Obviously I am alluding to a specific recent revelation of this. But I won't say in case not everyone has seen that episode yet.

Yeah well... I was aware of that...and trying to be humorous... Trying..

Also there is always people living under an alias. My username is an example of that. On the tv series Mad Men most of the characters thought Dick Whitman's name was Donald Draper.

Apparently the previously-reported repeats of Supergirl on CBS aren't happening any more, because the network's official schedule now lists a repeat of Scorpion airing in Supergirl's timeslot.

At this point it would make more sense for the CW to re-run season one leading into the new episodes for season two.
The commercials that they're running only announce new episodes coming in the fall though.

They don't usually advertise reruns anyways. Although I guess this isn't a normal rereun situation.

Superman Coming to Supergirl

Well, I think it was bound to happen sometime. I hope they write it in a way where they address the concerns and then maybe send him down a time portal to somewhere away from Supergirl so it can still be Supergirls show.

I'm kidding of course, but one of the things I hope doesn't happen is this becoming Superman with Supergirl as a side character. It's one of the big reasons why whenever there was talk about Superman showing up, I didn't want to say anything because I don't want Superman to be there.

I'm honestly surprised that they're being allowed to show Superman, considering how DC basically forced Arrow to eliminate its entire Suicide Squad so it wouldn't "interfere" with the movie. I wonder if Superman will be introduced just as a one time thing, and will be killed off. That seems like a situation where DC would allow them to use Superman. God forbid two versions of a character appear in live action, in different places, at once. People might start suffering spontaneously combustion from confusion

I have this feeling in a few years that might actually start happening. So many characters and in both DC and Marvel, it will grow to be so big it might be hard to keep track.

I doubt it'll happen, but what do you think the chances are of Tom Welling taking on the role?

If WB thinks people are too stupid to handle characters on TV and movies being completely different, I doubt they'd want two different TV Clark Kents to be played by the same actor.

Besides, wasn't Welling against wearing the costume during his time of Smallville?

Pretty sure that was just a studio mandate, that Welling has been taking the blame for, for years. Yeah, he didn't want to be typecast, but the entire show was based around "no tights no flights."

Yeah, I had assumed that part of the reason we weren't seeing Superman was because of the movies.
I wonder if this means there's a chance of seeing the Squad again or possibly even an Arrowverse version of Batman?
I just hope the big blue boy scout doesn't end up a drawing to much of the attention away from Kara.
