Super Bowl Commercial on YouTube

"Why are you talking to me Man" oh yeah that is good dialog. This will be a very good movie. :/

Yeah, definitely not the best line I've heard so far. I don't expect to have a problem with the dialogue, but I do think this commercial is a little non-descript and lacking any real focus.
 
OMG, a young man acting like...a young man?! The nerve of he!

And other then that...OMG this movie is made of win so far.

That shot of the Enterprise opening up her phaser banks...I just can't wait for this film AT ALL.

How is that bad dialogue? Sure it's a bit more contemporary than we're used to in Trek, but it still sounded like a pretty natural and realistic line to me.

Anyway, I loved the trailer. It was pretty much the same kind of frenetic, rapid-fire trailer I expected to be shown during the Super Bowl-- in fact it holds it's own rather well next to the other flashy movie trailers for TF, GI Joe, etc, which is probably what they were aiming for.

Dude, You have $150 million dollar movie and another 3 million for the superbowl ad. You want to put the best material you can in the trailer.

Oh yeah when did trek become Animal House?
I too can't wait for this movie...At the 99 cent box at best buy. :D Just a joke :D

Agreed. I would not be surprised to see him become one of my favorite trek captains once the movie is out.

Thats one thing I love about this film, or so far what I have seen of it, and I believe one the writers said it...something about out in many of the other films and shows, in order to make Kirk or Picard the MAN, many of the other Captains and Admirals in the show were either assholes or morons. In this movie, if you are the Captain of a Starfleet ship, you are BADASS, and have a sense of command and responsibility.

Looks good, because they're acting like human beings!

/once more gets angry that the movie is still more than 4 months away.

I really don't want to miss it because I overestimated by a month. :lol:
