Several things to note: We finally know the name of Linda Hamilton's character! I wonder why we don't get her full name...unless that's the only name she has.
Curiously, joining the cast is Alex Breaux, who is currently playing Dr. Brenner in the Broadway version of
The First Shadow. I imagine that's just either a coincidence or a Broadway casting decision made by someone who had seen his performance in this season, although I don't know how directly involved the Duffer Brothers are with either stage production.
Notably absent is Paul Reiser's Dr. Sam Owens. While I'm fine with him not being part of the main cast, I hope he appears in at least one episode.
Lastly, in case anyone needs a reminder (I had to look her up myself), Vickie is the girl Robin had a crush on in the high school band. I can't remember if we knew she was returning or not, but her listing her seems to indicate a significant role. Likewise, it appears, Holly Wheeler.
